driving up to the hotel in the dark at first concerned me and doesn't give the right impression. But as you enter the glass doors you are in a lovely place that is beautifully decorated and cozy. The location is right in the district for everything and in walking distance to churches, museum, restaurants and tourist shopping. Locals pack the city form 10 am into the night and I felt very safe walking down city streets as long as you can dodge the scooters. Behind graffiti covered dark old walls are families and small shops and restaurants that are modern and wonderful. I learned don't judge a book by it's cover. I would really recommend this spot to others. A gem in the rough.
