Lovely hotel with a real family feel to it. The service was excellent and the hotel spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included in the cost and was a high standard. We ate in the restaurant once for lunch and once for dinner and that was also very good. The only downside was the location. You definitely need a car and there weren’t many good restaurants in the immediate vacinity. I’d highly recommend for couples or families with older children.

And we discovered a new level of relaxation with vip spa service and magical atmosphere of the Eden Spa. Medusa Hotel has a beautiful garden that is effortlessly stunning. The garden features a variety of citrus trees, that are blooming in june that creates a magical atmosphere. We love to relax on the comfortable loungers near pool enjoying sun bathing, and enjoy the tranquility of the garden in bar lounge. And it feels like a second home. Staff ensure that every guest feels like being at home. Our compliments goes to Genaro, the master of the service, high attention to details and dedication to ensure guest satisfaction, always available to answer any questions. Overall, I believe that the hotel owners and hotel management commit of providing and ensuring exceptional customer service played a huge role in making our stay at this hotel (3rd time) a truly wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, thanks in large part to the excellent work of its managers..

The hotel is magnificent and regal, surrounded by beautiful gardens with many intimate seating areas. I can’t say enough good things about it. They pay attention to the little details and treat you like family. And the food is delicious!

This hotel far exceeded all other properties I have visited in my many years of travelling. From the moment we arrived at the property we were very well taken care of. The hotel manager, front desk staff, bartenders and the maintenance and housekeeping staff were so attentive and caring to ensure we had an amazing experience. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are amazing and the food was fantastic. The breakfast was wonderful with amazing selection of cheeses, eggs, bacon, fruit, smoked salmon and pastries. Service in the restaurant is 5* and the view unlike any other. The room was spacious with a beautifully furnished patio and well appointed in classic design. Large bathroom with modern design. The grounds are very large and are spectacular. Orange, lemon and lime trees. Beautiful lounge areas and spectacular views. The charming town of Castellanmare di Stabia is a short shuttle drive away, The hotel has a shuttle which will take you to town. Just around the corner from the hotel (walking distance) there is a small grocery store and a Bar with an outdoor area. On Saturday night they have a disco. It was hard to say good-bye to this hotel. Fantastic hotel, beautifully decorated and maintained to a very high level. Fabulous rooms with balconies overlooking stunning mountain and costal vista’s. The grounds and outdoor facilities were excellent and the staff were super attentive and helpful for our every need. Easy to get to the town and the links to the coast. I would highly recommend this hotel to both couples and families.

The most surprisingly charming hotel I’ve ever stayed. Medusa is a solid choice for a family vacation in Italy. It’s the nicest place I’ve stayed at, great restaurant with superb service, special thanks to Genaro for overall useful assistance, support and help. Room cleaning is a top priority, comfortable pool (with a handsome lifeguard Salvatore) and charming garden full of fruit trees. Worth to mention is a yummy breakfast with made-to-order Benedict eggs and tasty local pastry (extra: a priceless view at Vesuvio volcano). Big thank You for the lovely stay!

Would recommend for couples or young adult groups. Amazing staff that treat you like family. The garden is to die for. 10/10 Would go again.

A hotel with 10/10 service! We were for example welcomed with two rooms to choose from, the one we ordered and a bigger one, both already fixed with a baby crib. The staff in the reception, cleaning, breakfast and restaurant were amazingly professional and friendly. A great place for a relaxing time in the pool and the lemon and orange tree garden but also a great place for a wedding.

Well where do I start?!!! This is a really a 5* hotel. From the minute you drive through the ornate iron gated entrance, you are visually promised luxury. Our 35 years experience of travelling and staying at some of the worlds luxury hotels (including The Ritz London, Sandals Barbados and Raffles Singapore) we were impressed by the warmth, professional welcome and privacy afforded to both of us without the stuffiness. The friendly, helpful and professional nature of Francesco, the hotel manager, is reflected throughout the staff team. The hotel and its grounds are outstanding and impeccable, the views are phenomenal, the food is abundant and delicious, the rooms look and smell wonderful and the atmosphere is calm. We stayed for a week and saw all the highlights of the Almalfi.The hotel was a retreat away from the soaring 35 degree busy tourist centres where we were able to go back to beautiful gardens,cocktails and a cool swimming pool. A great place for weddings, singles, couples young and old alike as well as families. This hotel is one we will definitely return to even just for a long weekend. During our stay we noticed a small sign "a good man is the sum of his actions" and this summed up why our stay at the hotel was so enjoyable. Francesco's is an excellent manager and has created a wonderful hotel. We wish to take this opportunity to thank Francesco and his staff for our time spent at La Medusa. This hotel is beautiful! The grounds are extremely well looked after and the staff are so friendly and eager to please. The pictures on the site show all of the facilities in a great light however the gym and the pool were a little smaller than expected. Despite this, we were able to visit whenever we wanted as the hotel wasn't too busy. The hotel is situated on top of a hill and it is possible to walk down to the local town, however we found the rented car invaluable as the public transport was extremely cramped and quite uncomfortable in the hot weather. The food was delicious but was quite pricey- only what you would expect from a four star hotel though. Local attractions include Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius, Capri and Sorrento. For a day out with children (or adults like me and my new husband!), magicland is a fab day out too. All in all a fantastic honeymoon :D
