Hotel Miramare Stabia

The only good thing about this hotel is location with outstanding views on the mountains and the sea. We had a Junior Suite on the 6th floor. The guy at the reception warned us on the first day there were going to be a party on the 7th floor. The music was so loud my kids couldnt go to sleep. The music stoped after midnight. Of course I have complained, but noone really answered as there was no manager on site. On the second day there was another party, but luckily the music wasnt that loud and we were promised there is no more parties scheduled on the 7th floor. However there was another party downstair in the main lobby and on the terrace. We wanted to get a dring on our last day, but we were refused as everything was booked for other guests and if we wanted a drink we only could drink inside. The hotel is not for guests. This hotel is mainly for private parties where the guests can not do anything. I wouldnt write this review if this was cheaper hotel, but for that cost I expect something more.

Junior suite was spacious for 2+2 family. Location great for Amalfi excursions. Pool area fairly big and heated pool (early June). Main takeaway was extremely friendly and helpful staff - from front desk to breakfast and dinner. Overall a great experience.

This hotel is modern, clean and beautiful, and our first impression of the lobby, the lobby bar and room was wonderful. And the location cannot be beat with stunning views of the town and water. The junior suite is nice with wonderful balconies… however that’s where the superlatives end. All junior suites are located on the 6th floor and the hotel uses the floor above as a nightclub for events. Such loud thumping music all night until 12:30. We complained many times and it seemed to get louder. The staff was polite but obviously couldn’t do anything. We were exhausted the next day - our only day and we missed all the attractions of the town since we were miserable. The AC wasn’t working either. If you want to sleep, don’t book this hotel. The manager apologized the next day however we were so tired and miserable. It’s a shame since the hotel is beautiful. But there are so many other beautiful hotels in the area which you can stay. Expedia should take this off their VIP list. After all the main reason you book a hotel is to sleep.

Stayed with group of friends, lovely property on first sight-great location on sea front, modern and new build. But the hotel was very busy with non residents and events meaning it was crowded and one day out of our two day stay there was no food available to residents as they had an event to cater for. another day the pool was closed to residents as there was a child’s party which meant the hotel was full of children/families. At no stage were we informed about these events and the impact until we tried to order food or go to the pool. This was very disappointing as otherwise it’s a very nice space.

Overall nice hotel, helpful staff, located on the beach in a very walkable and family friendly community. Our room and every room has a great view facing the sea with private balcony. The one downside was the top floor is used as a nightclub and loud music was played every night during the four nights we were there. Our room was two floors down from the top and our friends room was four floors down. Our friends didn’t hear the music.
