The Davenport

The Davenport was an excellent hotel. The staff were amazing and service was top notch. We stayed with our two toddlers and had great accommodations, close to parks and food! An Issue with booking through Hotels.com lead to frustration and double book and despite their “attempts” (poor execution) they could not resolve it. Speaking with The Davenport directly allowed for resolution and their customer service was above and beyond. 0/5 stars for hotels.com and 5/5 for The Davenport! We learned our lesson not booking through a third party!

Another great experience at The Davenport. The hotel is in a beautiful building with a smart and tasteful renovation and decir just minutes away from Trinity Collage, parks and the best Dublin has to offer. But what makes The Davenport so unique is the young multicultural staff working there. Always welcoming, always smiling and taking care you are having a lovely time. I spend almost 180/ 200 nights a year touring Europe and the States, many times hotels offer Spas, swimingpools, gardens and so on, but very few manage to make u feel at home, away from home, as family. Rosilex is superb at front desk (thanks for the gift of a delicious breakfast!) and Zuly too. May be I visit Gibraltar where the hotel has another property, but in a blink I will be back to Dublin and The Davenport

Beginning with a great iconic building, the warm welcome at the front desk by Vatsal and team, great room and amenities as well as truly awesome dining experience at the Davenport restaurant with its team of Stella/Ron/Abdul etc. This is one gem of a hotel and we are glad that our family's first visit to Ireland began at this nice hotel!

Do not book the family room triple. They are nothing likes the photos and have a tiny square window that looks into a wall with no light. All of this type of room are the same.

Hotel was beautiful, lovely staff. Very clean. Great location. I would recommend to friends and family.
