Ashford Castle

The Ashford Castle is SIMPLY SPECTACULAR!! This was our second time staying at this magnificent hotel, and while we never thought we could top our first stay (which was amazing), we absolutely did!! We were greeted by the wonderful staff like we were family. Niall, the General Manager, is just fantastic. He is so kind and so hands-on with everything there, which is probably why the hotel runs so perfectly. Catherine, who is so sweet was in the lobby to greet us with her warm smile. Brege and Eleanor in the dining room are the absolute sweetest! Francisco, Gian Paolo, and Katelyn took such great care of us every morning at breakfast and were just precious (and we loved Mike who brought us freshly squeezed juices). David, Connor, and Shane and just AWESOME and will make any arrangements you need. And last but definitely not least, Paddy, the wonderful lounge ambassador, is just the best! The rooms are absolutely luxurious (heavenly beds, wonderful bathrooms & toiletries), the food at every restaurant is beyond delicious, and the activities are so unique. I highly recommend Falconry, the boat ride, archery, and the morning walk with the dogs. The common spaces are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen, and all warm and inviting! The service level is just superb! I have been fortunate to stay in many fine hotels, and Ashford Castle is by far my favorite. My family is already planning our next visit and cannot wait to see all of our friends again soon!!
