The Kingsley

The Kingsley is now going to be our go to hotel when staying in Cork City. It is such a beautiful hotel from the moment you walk through the main entrance all the way to the guest rooms. We checked-in late in the evening and the young woman at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a "King Room" which was nicer than most high end five star hotels we've stayed in. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we've ever had. The room had full air conditioning, a dining table, separate small office area with a work desk, the most beautiful bathroom with full bath, twin sinks and a very nice shower. The bathroom also had complimentary Rituals shower gels, soaps, shampoos etc. Also in the room were a proper hairdryer, iron & ironing board, coffee maker, tea kettle, robes and slippers and a really fantastic TV with access to a secured private chromecast system so you can use your own favourite streaming services on the big screen if you wish or need to keep little ones entertained. To top off the guest experience the room also has the most fantastic "Virtual Concierge" system via a tablet device. On this you are able to order room service, dinner reservations check out hotel amenities etc and it was just a revelation to use. No more waiting on busy phones to be answered or searching through inch think binders looking for a hotel service. The junior suite was amazing, the river view was beautiful, the staff was welcoming and helpful. The restaurant and bar were absolutely great too.

A hotel that has everything in it. We booked a suite with a river view which was fab. Lovely pool and kiddies pool. Breakfast was super too.
