Puri Santrian - CHSE Certified

We had to wait 4 hours for our room to be ready when we checked in, the bed and pillows were very hard and not comfortable and we were surrounded by families with small people and they were very noisy. Would have been better for us as a couple to be located away from the children. Stall lovely and facilities were adequate but would not stay here again

I have stayed a few resorts in Sanur and this was my favourite. It has a calm, authentic, and established feel about it, plus the local staff is friendly and courteous. It has excellent amenities, good quality rooms, and a lovely beach frontage - very important for a Sanur experience I think. It is also one of four Santrian resorts owned by a local family. I’ll book there again if staying in Sanur

Great place to take kids or a family group, busy and not so busy areas in resort, plenty to do or not do, for couples a child free area in the Santrian Club, serene lounge areas dotted around the place to relax. Sanur is beautiful. Many Europeans in this part of Bali, less carousing/crowds, nice restaurants/bars but nightlife can be found if desired. Beach was lovely and clean, he grounds were immaculate.s a couple we would go to a smaller resort next time, there appears to be newly renovated accommoodation/areas. We were kindly upgraded to a dated room with older furniture in the club area that had borers in ceiling architrave throwing out sawdust, we asked to go back to our standard room that had a seaview/was newer and were happier. Resort staff were attentive, as in Bali restaurant service is slow, housekeeping, I thought the corners of rooms were a little dusty and keeping an eye on maintenance would give a better impression. I worked in hospitality and noticed cost cutting with toiletries/tea/coffee supply etc, the place could value add/make guests feel spoiled by adding a few inexpensive extra touches and service pool/beach lounging areas with fast but discreet drinks and food service to keep guests spending in house. Room service was great. We received a free transfer to our next hotel which was appreciated. We werent terribly happy with Expedia offering sketchyVIP Extras' that they gave the resort no notification of

A great place to stay for families or groups. A bit busy for couples perhaps.

Great family destination with service to match. Good location within the quiet town of Sanur.
