We had 3 rooms and spent 3 nights in July. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and upgraded to executive suites. One family in our party had a baby and the hotel had provided a clean baby crib, baby tub and supplies. Nice large rooms and bathrooms. Excellent location to walk for many sites. I would stay here again if visiting Budapest!

This is hands down the nicest boutique hotel we have ever stayed at! ✅
The staff has a philosophy from the active owner on-property\down to treat guests like family and it showed.
Beautifully appointed, nice large room and from the minute we were picked up at the train station by friendly and informative Paul, we were very comfortable and happy.
We were immediately greeted by Victoria and a glass of wine\Cappuccino in the cozy lobby, where she was a wealth of information and made great recommendations.
We were pretty self-sufficient, but the entire staff at the very complete breakfast spread, was always there to attend to any need.
Custom omelettes, a large coffee cup for Kaye when they noticed she always wanted several refills anyhow, the best streudal we had on our entire trip (including Vienna), glasses of wine to relax after a long day of touring...
We cannot reccomend Hotel Residence Agnes enough and will tell all friends that go to Prague to stay at this wonderful, convenient hotel we loved for 4 nights to top off our vacation, and see the beautiful city of Prague!

Great experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly, professional, helpful and knowledgeable. The location can't be beat, a short walk to St. Stephen's Basilica, the Chain Bridge and the Parliament. Delicious breakfast made this hotel a family hit, for us, we would definitely recommend this property for a delightful experience on the Pest side of Budapest.

Wanna be happy with your hotel choice in Budapest? Book The Prestige, seriously. The hotel is extremely well appointed, has style that suits the old city, and is staffed by some of the most attentive young hospitality professionals we’ve ever had take care of us. The help we got from the concierge and attendants was superb, replete with ticket sales, reservation calling and excellent travel tips in English. The property was clean and everything worked extremely well. The layout of the room made sense and packed a lot of luxury and utility in a small space, albeit larger than most double European rooms or Queens in NYC or San Francisco. The bathroom was behind the headboard wall, so it disappeared when sitting on the pasha-style couch or at the desk. The decor was contemporary with a nod to the baroque architecture of old Pest. We had a room overlooking the interior square around the lobby, which was extremely quiet with a nice, urbane feel if you opened the curtains to let in the ample light of the lobby area. There’s a 360 balcony around the lobby square as well, but it is locked so as to provide privacy; guests cannot walk by each other’s windows, yet it adds a sense of community and elegance to the decor. There are street-front rooms that I imagine are also quiet, as it is not a busy street, and the hotel’s construction is extremely solid.
As to the location, there is a ton to do within walking distance, and it is safe to do so. No views, maybe not great for kids.
