The Salisbury - YMCA of Hong Kong

My family stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We are very pleased to stay there.

A nice hotel located in the heart of Hong Kong, in Tsim Sha Tsui. Several points of interest are just a stroll away, as well as two MTR stations. We were travelling with two little children (4 and 1 yo) and our room was spacious and fit for our needs, definitely on the large end for the price we paid! The hotel is not in perfect conditions but overall acceptable. The room was clean although the couch had some visible stains. The service was a bit disappointing: we asked for some dishwashing liquid to wash the baby bottles and we were told they didn't have any (I wonder where they clean glasses and cups then...), then that things were washed in a different location, then they just turned their back on us and stopped answering... We will book this hotel again next time in Hong Kong, but if something cheaper in the same area comes up in our search, we will happily try it out.

It was convenient to meet family staying nearby.The installed hair dryer was inconvenient.The wind power of the dryer is weak.

Nice view towards the harbor. Easy access to major places of HK. Good enough to stay with family.

We have booked city view king suite since we are a family of four and got upgraded to partial harbour view. The room is larger than expected with generous living room size. It was perfect since we have friends staying in other rooms and we needed a place to stay wherein we could spend time all together. The hotel is located just across victoria harbour and 5 mins away from ferry station.

Excellent location, customer service, and cleanliness! Corner suite had incredible views of the harbor and evening light show. The room was large and good for families with children. Front desk staff were very accommodating and allowed us to pay an extra guest fee (very reasonable). YMCA pool is quite busy, but multiple options (including toddler friendly shallow pools). Unfortunately hot tub was unavailable. Will definitely return!

Just perfect for a unit family trip!

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Salisbury YMCA hotel immensely. It is in an excellent location, and we are welcome to use the outstanding YMCA swimming pools, Jacuzzi, and locker rooms. If you choose a room with the ocean view, you may even enjoy central Hong Kong across the bay from this Kowloon side. The hotel is near the MTR subway station and several bus lines, and great for shopping, walking on the board walk, Avenue of Stars and spectacular light show nightly at 8PM.

Would recommend for families. Stayed in the Harbor View Suite with 2 adults, 2 kids. The view is amazing and the King bed for adults is firm but nice. There is a door to close off the room but the bathroom is only accessible from this room. The sofa bed for the kids is AWFUL - thin mattress and huge sag so kids roll into each other. So we took off the mattress, folded it in half for 1 kid to sleep on it on the floor and the other kid slept on the couch cushions and that worked just fine. Overall a clean, quiet place, handy coin-up laundry and great location. Didn't eat here - many other options nearby.
