La Placita Inn

My family and I enjoyed our stay at La Placita Inn very much. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Kimberly, Angel and our shuttle drivers that got us to/from airport safely. Loved that we could use sister property amenities. Also enjoyed daily breakfast as well as the plaza with multiple dining options. Would visit again and definitely recommend.

This was our second time staying at La Placita Inn and it won't be our last. This is not a big fancy resort, rather, a boutique hotel with around a dozen rooms. It is close to the beach, dining options, some shopping, etc. The rooms are good sized, the property is clean, the staff is friendly, and the location is great. I would definitely recommend for families, couples, or anyone traveling through who prefers not to be at a big bustling resort property. West Bay is quieter and more relaxed in general, and this property really fits into that sort of environment well, which makes it the perfect fit for our family's needs/wants when we visit Roatan.

Our stay was amazing!!! Well trained front desk people!!! This property has everything needed to enjoy the beach (beach chairs for free, umbrellas, restaurants around) breakfast were amazing as well and the best thing ever is the cleanliness of this place!!! For sure in the future I will bring my whole family there!!!

We stayed at La Placita for a week for a family reunion. We loved the hotel. Our room was spacious and well appointed, breakfast was delicious with plenty of food options and the hotel location was wonderful. Everything we needed was within walking distance and the stores and events in the square next to the hotel were a lot of fun. Highly recommend,

We stayed at La Placita Inn for 4 nights. We got the Placita View suite and had a great view of the shops downstairs and a balcony to relax in the evenings. The room was very spacious, clean, and elegant. Super comfy bed. Because our room faced the shops, you can hear muffled music up to 10 pm (on the weekdays, at least). Good a/c and there is hot water. A drawback to our room was that when people (usually kids) would twirl themselves on suspended chair swings downstairs in the lobby, we could hear loud noises all over the room. Unfortunately, this happened off and on and made it difficult to fall asleep. After 10 pm, nobody used the swings. Other than that drawback, we truly enjoyed our stay. The free breakfast included was superb and had a variety of choices. Their lunch and dinner menu also have a good variety and are yummy. Although the hotel doesn’t have a pool itself nor direct access to the beach, the hotel next to it does, and we were allow access to both pool and beach chairs. The beach it’s only a few minutes walk away. Although we didn’t use it, you can book activities at the front desk. You also get beach towels. We did use the hotel for transportation to and from the ferry and airport (at an extra fee). Finally, the staff is excellent. They go beyond their way to make one feel comfortable and welcome. From the driver, to the waitress, to the people in the lobby—lovely people that offer superb service. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

This property was a great place for our family to stay! There aren't a huge number of rooms which made it quieter. They even provided a pack and play for our baby!
