Grand Tikal Futura Hotel

I was very pleased with my stay there. Everything was more than I had expected. I recommend this Hotel to anyone going to Guatemala. I am already planning my next trip to stay there with my whole family next time. I wish I could give 10 Stars

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The staff was friendly, the indoor pool was amazing my daughter enjoyed the little kids pool . The downside was that at night it was a little noisy due to the party’s on the banquet area and the bar where they had music . But it’s in a great location, clean and safe .

Pool closed at 8pm when they told me 9pm so my kids missed that and when I try many times to call front desk nothing so I had to go to lobby for new sheets but they came quick to fix bed

Stayed overnight on a family trip and enjoyed it very much. The customer service was excellent from arrival to departure. The room was clean and it felt spacious, modern bathroom and comfortable beds. We had a misunderstanding on the date of arrival, but the manager called me personally to apologize. The swimming spa was a plus with a climatized pool in an oasis of plants. We also tried the food at Hibiscus, but were not impressed unfortunately. Overall, we enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

The property was great and the staff was very professional and friendly for the most part. I didn’t like that there was one checking person, which made her rush thru. We were not offered a room upgrade and the property was not introduced well enough. Also my experience with the pool staff was not pleasing they were slow to bring the food and drinks. I also asked for some hot water to warm a baby bottle but customer who ordered after me got their beer first. While I was waiting with a crying baby for something that takes ten seconds from Expresso machine. Also I didn’t like that they didn’t provide a receipt until I had paid and tipped leading to a double tip. It was a very unpleasant experience by the pool staff and it appeared intentional. Most of the staff was very friendly, professional, and welcoming.

The room wasn’t clean, the crib for my baby was dirty and bad condition. Couldn’t sleep there. The floor was dirty, nobody came to clean (I asked two times for it). At check out called like 10 times for help with our luggage. NOTHING They offered some complementary breakfast “for the inconvenience” I don’t think that was enough for all the bad experiences we had.
