Clarion Suites Guatemala City

The rooms are literally huge in comparison to other hotels. Each room I've stayed in my last 6 stays on this property have had a large bedroom, den, and washroom. Whether traveling alone or with family, the rooms are plenty big, the property is clean and well maintained. The dining room are is spacious, clean, and pretty. Service is always quick and friendly. Love this place.

I have booked myself here many times. The the bellhops, the lady at the bar, the waiter and waitresses at their restaurant all were so nice to us. The front desk clerk Jefferson ? Was so helpful and went out of his way to helps is with everything we needed: covid tests, receiving and sending items by Uber for us. He mostly worked in the evening. There was only one or two front desk employees who gave my relatives a hard time when visiting us during the day. One lady told my senior cousins she and her 50 year daughter couldn't come up to my room , even if I went downstairs to get them because they didn't have a DPI. This was so ridiculous. They didn't present any danger to anyone and other visitors were not questioned when entering the building . I spoke to the clerk during the incident and asked her to pass me to the supervisor. She told me" I don't think he will allow it either. She had no right to say anything about it. The manager approved it and finally my family came up to my room. That did bother me. It didn't have to be such a big deal. They hotel Should put it in the web thst all visitors should have a picture iD and not take people by surprise with requirements like that.
