Concierge was top notch and very helpful. This is beautiful and clean hotel that is centrally located. We travelled with a picky eater and the chef managed to impress our little one with yummy lunch and dinner options, even adding small things like extra cucumbers to her plate. We had a pleasant stay and were impressed by the great food and service. Don’t think twice about staying here, you will be very pleased…also you might have a view if the acropolis from your hotel like we did! The room set up worked perfect for our family of 5.

We are so happy we picked the Gem Society Hotel for our stay in Athens. It is a beautiful property, centrally located and recently renovated. We had a junior suite, and we found it was a perfect size for a two week stay for two people. (Incidentally, the shower was fabulous!) Everything was clean and new and beautiful throughout the hotel. It was evident everywhere that careful attention had been paid to details and aesthetics. All services, too, were consistently excellent: Each of the front desk concierges were unfailingly friendly, kind, and helpful, which was especially important for us as it was our first trip to Athens and we speak no Greek! The restaurant in the hotel is extremely high quality, using fresh local ingredients and making delicious traditional Greek dishes, as well as providing some European and American fare. The hotel's location is also great: easy walking distance to most major museums and, crucially, the Parthenon. Breathtaking! Along the way in every direction, there are many wonderful shops and restaurants to visit. Many other central Athens hotels are very large and might feel a bit impersonal, but the Gem Society's personable size and wonderful, caring staff make it feel like a very comfortable vaca nest away from home.

The signature suite was a perfect size for our family. The hotel was conveniently located within a 1 minute walking distance from a couple of really good restaurants, and so many more just a few more minutes away. The staff was super friendly and the property was very clean. The restaurant on prem was also very nice.

The stay was great as the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was quite clean and tidy and I would recommend it to friends and family and would return as it's location is central to lots of handy buildings and sites that may be on one's list of things to do

A lovely hotel well situated to reach all the popular sites on foot easily. The hotel is stylishly decorated and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful and were always on hand to sort out any minor issues. We stayed in the Signature Suite as a family and the only problem we had was that the Expedia website led us to believe that the suite had 3 king beds. When we arrived we found two kings and has to ask then next day to separate one into singles so the children did not have to share. The central light well in the building can be a bit noisy as it seems perhaps staff or other residents can have access so noise can rise up into bedrooms. The breakfasts were delicious and very plentiful. We didn’t get to try the spa as it was under renovation. The balcony was lovely and although it overlooks opposite a somewhat shabby derelict building it also had a great view of the Parthenon. There was an excellent restaurant just on the corner of the nearby square which we would throughly recommend.
