Arcade Hotel

I came with a big group of 26 friends and family. Iro and Alex were both very helpful and patient with us from check in until check out. We came in early but they were able to accommodate early check ins soon as our room became available, without any additional charge. They also granted my room request. Arcade Hotel provided suggestions for dining, shopping and tourist places to visit. Hotel staff also assisted us with transportation from another hotel to Piraeus port, from port to Arcade hotel and also to the airport. We encountered a problem on our last day when one of my friend’s wallet got stolen while at Monastiraki. She lost her money and most importantly her passport and Arcade Hotel were very accommodating and sympathetic towards the situation and offered them a free extended stay at the hotel so they can go to the US Embassy the next day. As far as the physical aspect of the hotel - we liked the location as it is not in a busy street, bedrooms are spacious, modern looking and most importantly it is clean. Bed is very comfy. Bathroom looks new and we enjoyed the rain shower head. Weather outside was in the 90s so it was very refreshing to go back to the hotel room with very good air conditioning. We definitely enjoyed our 2 nights stay at this hotel and will no doubt book this hotel again in the future if we come and visit Athens again. I give it 5 stars and highly recommend to others!!!

Overall I had a lovely stay with my family. We were in the room on the 7th floor which has a lovely big terrace with great views of the Acropolis. The room was spacious with two single beds and one single sofa bed all of which were comfortable. The shower drain had a slightly bad smell but as long as you close the bathroom door it wasn’t noticeable in the rest of the room. The staff was friendly and warm and there to answer any questions we had. The breakfast was simple (yogurt, toasts, cereal, pastries, and fruit) but very nice and set us up well to go exploring for the day. The hotel was in a great location with a lot of restaurants and bars nearby within walking distance. I really enjoyed my stay.

We had a family suite on the 6th floor with Acropolis view. The room was beautifully equipped, comfortable beds, quiet, very clean and spacious like an apartment. Very nice shower with good water pressure. Nice breakfast buffet, basic but all fresh and of good quality. Nice coffee! Most of all we enjoyed the warm welcome and very friendly, helpful, open, and professional personnel. Thank you very much, would definitely come back.

Our room overlooked the Acropolis and was squeaky clean. The best part though was the staff. Because it's a small hotel, the owner and receptionists treated us like family and went out of their way to help. And, oh, the beds were fabulous!
