We had a family vacation in Berlin. The hotel was great, stuff are very nice and kind. Great location for families. The only thing that was a bit difficult was the stairs in on the way to the room with the stroller.

Hotel is very charming . Its location is close to the high end shopping center Kadewe which is very convenient . It is also close to the major shopping area along Tauentzienstrabe with grocery store , many well known stores makes it an ideal location. Yet , it is quiet and very cute . Our family of 3 was very comfortable in a room with a pullout bed . Highly recommend the hotel

So, we are a family of three from NYC and totally loved our stay at the Mercure Hotel at the Wittenbergplatz. The place was chic, clean and in a very good location - right by the KaDeWe and Kurfurstendam, many stores, restaurants and the subway station. The staff was extremely nice, kind, helpful and knowledgeable! We can really highly recommend this hotel.

Basic hotel in a good location next to the U Bahn, tiergaten and shopping district. 4 star rating is generous as rooms are small, shared areas are basic, our room aircon and tv didn’t work . Breakfast is ok but if you like cereal - the choice seems to be focused in children.

Our family had two rooms. We were on the top floor with a nice view and fairly large room. My son was on a lower floor with a typically hotel room. Not a fan of European breakfast...wish they had a little more stuff for people that reside across the pond. Staff was very helpful. Hotel was well maintained and clean. Subway station was across the street. Restaurants and upscale shopping was in the immediate vicinity.

This is a fabulous hotel for a reasonable price. It is just steps away from a bus stop and an underground train station that can take you anywhere in and around Berlin. The staff are polite and extremely helpful if you need advice on how to get around. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the Breakfast is fabulous. I would stay here again of i visited Berlin again and will be recommending it to all my friends and family

Highly recommended for a family or business trip. Modern hotel, a great breakfast, and no disturbance from traffic. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in walking distance, and easy to reach other parts of Berlin by public transport.
