KING's HOTEL Center

München was our second stop on a tour of Germany and Austria with family from Australia. We chose the Kings centre hotel as we have stayed here before and It’s close to the Hauptbahnhof and within walking distance of the touristy bits. Check in was simple and efficient and the lovely lady on duty was so helpful. Our room was a good size, with a decent bathroom and comfortable bed. We took the eco option as we don’t need our towels changing everyday and that got us €10 credit per day at the bar. Despite being close to the station and on a main road it was not noisy at night except from other guests which is out of the hotels control. The breakfast room was busy depending on the time of morning but we had no problems getting a table. There was a good selection for breakfast to cater for palate even my vegan one. Food was replenished regularly and the restaurant staff were friendly except the older guy who was a bit rude to guests and staff treating the restaurant as his private fiefdom. Check out was quick and simple and as I have said, all the staff for the most part were very friendly and helpful. Something to consider, there were a significant number of American guests staying who sadly have no manners or volume control particularly at breakfast and public areas. Other than that we loved our stay and will no doubt be back to stay again in the future.

Small family owned property. Clean with super staff - friendly and helpful.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast staff were friendly and welcoming to the children bringing them warm croissants and hot chocolate. Hotel was clean and rooms were spacious and perfect for our stay. Location is good for access to all amenities. Would recommend.

Great overnight stay for our family. A little bit more expensive than some, but loved the character of the decor.

I stayed for 1 week with my family in two rooms. its Nice location near to the main train station , the staff they are very helpful and friendly .

We absolutely loved staying here. The only thing that could be improved, perhaps, is to provide more storage space for clothes. There were enough hangers but basically nothing to put your smaller items in such as a dresser. Otherwise, it was perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast buffet, quiet, good location close to Central Station. Will definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family,
