Waldorf Astoria Versailles - Trianon Palace

When we made the reservation in no place did they tell us that the terrace bar was closed, my husband and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary with changpane and be able to enjoy its abane with peace of mind as we usually do on our trips and when we reserve hotels of this category more in this Location, it was disappointing trying to get an option with so many terraces and tables outside, the time we asked for was 4:30 and no restaurant at that time was busy, what a shame to have status with the Hilton and that it was of no use, it was uncomfortable try to find solutions and prefer to go somewhere else to enjoy an hour without the children.

There was a big truck in the yard and made loud noises until around 4am during one of the days. In addition, I had someone (probably a kid) banging on my door for 10 minutes while I was inside and on a video conference. Also the breakfast could be better. Everything else is ok. Staff was very friendly and highlight of my stay.

We booked this property specifically for the swimming pool. However, upon arrival we were informed that the pool is only open until 19:00 for children (21:00 for adults). Needless to say our children were very disappointed.

Our family truly enjoyed the property and the staff were all so lovely.

Stunning property with a stone’s throw away from Versailles. A little haven tucked in the corner in a gated community equipped with a renowned spa, beautiful restaurant / hotel grounds and modern hotel rooms. Only issue I had was with the temperature. Thermostat was not adjustable to comfortable temperature. We were semi sweating . Other than that Julie at the front desk was so hospitable, Sinatra at the valet and Lucas was so helpful! Thank you Waldorf Astoria family! Looking forwards to coming back the next time I’m in Paris!

I loved this hotel. We were in the annexe rather than the main hotel, but had a very comfortable, clean and spacious room with all the facilities one would expect - infact the hotel provided mini slippers and a child's dressing gown for my daughter! The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and the pool was great. The staff were all very helpful. I can't comment on the rooms in the main hotel but expect they would have been a lot more pricey than what we paid.

Excellent hotel, catering for families and couples, with less emphasis on business or conference customers in contrast to most large city hotels. The staff were very helpful in providing cot and ice for room, which was spacious and offered lovely views. Pool, spa and gym a bonus. Great location.

NOT A DOG FRIENDLY HOTEL - Says it pet friendly - it also says 50 Euros a night for the dog, apparently though, because my dog is a little over 26kg they have charging us 100 EUROS, he is not allowed in the bar or public areas, there is nothing special in the room for him, therefore the Waldorf should NOT call themselves Pet friendly as they are not. We have been put in a rubbish room in the pavilion out the back through child graffiti tunnel to get to it, looks like you are in the staff quarters going to it, not the main building as per my booking, even though this room is £280.. DO NOT come here if you have a dog! Just come from a £600 a night Swiss hotel who not only gave treats for the dog, he was allowed in the hotel areas (not restaurant obvs but everywhere else) and we were charged 50 euros a night. The Waldorf is a much lower standard and priced hotel yet they are charging 100 euros for a dog which is totally extortionate, if you charged people based on their size you may find you get sued! His size has nothing to do with it, you are not providing anything for him. Left a totally bad taste I will not come here again nor stay at a Waldorf Hilton Chain again, DO NOT STAY HERE WITH A DOG - NOT PET FRIENDLY - RIP OFF HOTEL - PLUS the light in wardrobe cupboard stayed on all night so I couldn't sleep, the fridge didn't open at all, they give you 2 small milks so not even enough for 2 drinks - the water in the bathroom took 5 minutes to run through warm, this is a 3 star at
