The Hotel is not a 4 star. It claimed the room we stayed in was already renovated but it was not. The entire hotel had so much work needed and the room was truly an average hotel room, even though we chose a family room. I think we overpaid for what we got for sure. Location was convenient to the palace. Bed was comfortable. I was a little disappointed for sure.

Hotel Le Versailles is a good quality French Hotel with nicee and interesting touches and within perfect reach if the intention is to spend a whole day in the Palais de Versailles the entrance to which is just a few hundred metres away. Great for a couple of hours break in the early afternoon. The family rooms are spacious and the hotel staff most helpful. I spoke in French but my wife, who is Brazilian, was just as effective in English. Interesting and good value local restaurants nearby
