Hotel Bassano

We were able to leave the bags at the hotel since our flight got in earlier. Check in was a breeze. Madeleine was very helpful and efficient. When we went back, she gave us room keys and said our bags are inside our room. When we came in there was a different family in the room (we were given the keys to someone else’s room). The experience made me paranoid whenever I hear someone opening their doors. I felt like any moment someone can open our door. (The hotel’s sound proofing needs a lot of improvement) 1st night our plugs stopped working and the night shift person didn’t know what to do, transferred us to a temporary room. But the room was so hot. (Considering it was freezing outside. We couldn’t leave the window opened since we were transferred in teh first floor and I was afraid someone will just get inside the room.) he said we can leave all our stuff in the room and someone will come fix it tomorrow. We ended up sleeping at 3am. The next day we were given a different room, had to transfer our things in a hurry since we have a tour we needed to go to. The room was much bigger and much nicer. 2nd night, in the newer and nicer room. Woke up at 4am with some kind of construction sounds on the floor above us. So not a good night sleep again. Vueling change our flights on us so instead of staying another night in Paris we had to leave on that day. Hotel Bassano worked with us with our flight changes. Excellent stay, easy checkin and car park. Great room for a family of 4. And breakfast had something for everybody. A certain stay again hotel.

Wonderful boutique hotel walking distance to Eiffel Tower & other attractions. Good breakfast & great family room option.

Great location that is very walkable to different parts or interests, as well as to trains. We walked quite a bit to the Champs Elysees, to the Arc de Triumph, to the Eiffel Tower, to the Seine, etc. And the area is very safe, even late in the evening walking as a family. There are also good dining options in the area. Staff was excellent, we want to particularly call out Jazz. We really appreciated the service, the friendliness and responsiveness. This would be a 5 star review if a) we had better internet access (terrible, and it constantly dropped), b) the rooms were a little bigger, and c) you got a little more value for the money. I'm not sure for the price we paid we couldn't have gotten a slightly larger room with better internet at another location not too far away. All in all, a positive experience, just more on the costly side for what we got.
