Sure Hotel by Best Western Calais Coquelles Tunnel s/ Manche

We use this hotel as a stop the night before returning home from France. Staff are friendly and there are 2 restaurants within walking distance which are very good and there is a supermarket with petrol station down the road. The adjoining rooms are very useful as a family room and provide good space and facilities.

On arrival I was greeted by the friendly staff for what appears to be a family run hotel, they could not have been more helpful. The hotel and my room were clean and had everything I needed for my stay. There is a very nice restaurant next door, which offers a discount to the hotel guests. Breakfast in the hotel was in the bar area and allowed me to eat in a relaxed manner too. I definitely will return if I need a hotel in the Calais area again.

A stop over before travelling back to the UK a great family room very comfortable

Great hotel for an overnight stay before getting back on the ferry to the UK. Quick drive to both ferry terminal and shopping. Rooms are clean and we were give. Two rooms as we ordered a family room for three. They are a little small, especially the bathrooms. Breakfast was good.

Great value stay near to Eurotunnel. The room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. We had booked a family room, which was actually 2 rooms with an interconnecting door. Negative points: The toilet flush was damaged and the soap dispensers both ran out during our one night stay, so maybe they could be checked daily by housekeeping staff? We had trouble finding the hotel as Apple maps took us to a location half a mile away. Positive points:The man on reception was very efficient and told us that the Poivre Rouge restaurant next door would give us 10% discount. The restaurant was busy but the food was excellent and good value. We didn’t book breakfast as we had seen a boulangerie/patisserie with cafe seating a 5 minute walk away. This served excellent coffee and pastries. We also bought bread to take home, which was delicious. The hotel breakfast area looked good and there was also a bar. Overall this is an excellent budget hotel and we would stay again.

It was nice. I was checking in late so they have me a code to get into the property and they left my room key in a lock box for me which was great! No cot for my toddler and nobody was there when I left to catch an early train.
