Domaine Les Crayeres

Took the train straight from CDG airport in Paris and got off at the Reims Maison Blanche stop. Don’t do this. Better to get off at Champagne Ardenne stop because there is an actual station there. Called the hotel and they came and picked us up. After checking in we were served a glass of Champagne with some finger foods. A great start. Hotel is filled with history as it is former private home of the Pommery family. Room was very nice, only complaint was that it was too warm in our room and the only way to cool down was to open the windows. Dinner at La Parc restaurant was excellent although pricey. What they don’t tell you and we had to ask (several times) is if you are a guest of the hotel they do not bring a check to your table. Service is outstanding. If you are coming to Reims, this is the place to stay.
