From the moment we arrived, we felt taken care of at the hotel. A beautiful and very well-maintained building, we felt very safe with the tasteful perimeter and security station at the entrance. Service was five-star, whether from the front desk, the tour of the entire facility by the butler (yes, butler service!), or the room service that set up a roll-away bed. Travelling with four young children, the staff made them feel welcome and treated them like little adults (which helped us with setting behavioral expectations). We purchased the breakfast package upon arrival, even knowing that we'd miss one day due to early departure to tour Alexandria. Service showed again when they assembled six boxed meals (& coffee) for us to collect by 5:30 that morning. When we did make it to breakfast, we enjoyed a cosmopolitan menu that pleased everyone. Best was the server who imparted daily wisdom while refilling coffee. Location was great: we walked to Tahrir Square in the early evening and were able to walk right outside the hotel to walk along the Nile River. I regret we didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the gorgeous hotel. We (my wife, another couple, and I) enjoyed a delightful evening at the rooftop bar; the old fashioneds were a bit sweet for me but delicious after a day of touring and my wife enjoyed the wine selection. I regret we never made it to the jazz bar the floor below; the ambiance felt awesome but the night was too beautiful to sit inside. Next time!

The property was beautiful, updated, family friendly and accommodating. The staff was so friendly. If you needed anything all you had to do was ask. I would highly recommend staying at the property.

Clean and spacious Nile facing deluxe suite. Breakfast spread was great. Walkable to Tahrir square. Close to US and UK embassies - so there were plenty of security on the streets making it safe to walk. Only issue we had was getting a seat at breakfast place and getting billed correctly - for some reason they were getting confused a lot on how many we are (4 in our family and there were 3 families traveling for holidays - they couldn't get they need to charge three rooms for 4 people each. It could be a language problem - but at least one person spoke good English. so no idea what was going on). Other than that, it was a great place, good service, clean rooms and we will stay again

It is a nice hotel in an area that was walkable and safe. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. The rooftop pool, although small, was a great cool down after a long hot day of sight seeing, unfortunately it closes at 7pm, which seemed early to me. Just starting to relax and then we have to get out. Regardless, the rooftop area was a good spot for a drink and light food and a Nile view. We travelled as a family of 4, and had 2 rooms for three nights. We would return.

Loved my stay at the Kempinski. Everything was great: the breakfast buffet, the rooms, the staff. Loved having drinks by the pool, as well as great coffee and tiramisu at the Chocolate Lounge. We had dinner a few times at the Osmanly and would go back in a heartbeat. The concierge service was amazing. We booked a tour through the concierge and Ameera (our guide) didn’t disappoint. Definitely coming back, either alone or with family!

It was a really bad experience as you know in Egypt to get what you are supposed to get as hotel service you need to tip but it was too much. First they put me in a smoking area floor which I ask for no smoking room since I have kids and if you don’t give me too than no solution. If you go to the pool all the chairs are taken because the guys that works there put a towel and reserve them for people that left him tops the night before no sense. I’m veery very disappointed no 5 stars hotel. Look for a different one
