Zleep Hotel Billund Airport

The hotel is in a great location for the airport and is about 40 mins walk to Lego House / Legoland. We were allocated a room on arrival and the reception staff gave us a heads up that there was construction happening in the morning and if it was a problem, they would move us. The construction was no issue at all, the problem was the location of the room. The rooms have no aircon, we had the window open as it was warm and I was kept awake by people going in and out of the hotel, suitcases being dragged along, people smoking and taxi drivers stood chatting. If you are staying with your family, then don’t get a room that overlooks the reception doors. The rooms are compact but the bunks are fun for the kids. The bathrooms are a wet room so might not be ideal for those travelling with small children who could easily slip. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble at all. Breakfast is ok, possibly not worth the money as it’s a small buffet (was £150 for 2 adults/1 child for 3 days) but there is not a lot of choice around the hotel unless you go into Billund itself.

Room not overly spacious, but perfectly adequate for one night for 3 of us. Stayed in May, and room temperature was fine, and the room was clean. Had view of airport. Bathroom was a wet room, which seems fairly standard for Billund. Our child loved the Lego table and the colouring-in table downstairs. Didn’t eat here. Used DanTaxi to get around.

Reception and restaurant staff very attentive and friendly. Made our family very welcome and were great with the kids. The Danes really know how to treat guests in their country, throughout our stay everyone we interacted with were extremely pleasant and helpful.

The hotel was a 5 minute walk away from the terminal. The rooms are very small and basic, but could sleep a family of 4 wit the 2 bunk beds. The entire bathroom is the shower floor.

Very convenient for the airport, very friendly staff and lots for kids to do. The food at the restaurant could have tasted better but the staff was great.

We stayed in a family room which was tight for 4 adults but the beds were comfortable and it was a great place to spend the night.

We had booked the property due to the easy access to the airport with an early flight the following day. We arrived late afternoon the day before and had therefore researched dinner options at the hotel due to us having two young kids. This was not listed on the website and I called the Head Office number to query, where the lady advised me no dinner was available at the hotel, but she could not transfer me to the hotel or give me their direct number. It did turn out that the hotel in fact had some evening dining options. Overall we were very happy with the hotel, location, clear and tidy conditions. One thing I would have liked was a taller side rail on the top bunk as this seemed a little low for a top bunk, but a minor point. We would happily recommend the hotel to others and friends alike.

The property location is perfect for Legoland and Billund centre. Transport is often and easy to access. The staff are very helpful at the hotel and it is exceptionally clean and very eco friendly. The only negative is with the family comfort room. My daughter said the bunk bed was hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. Other than that it was a great stay.

Stayed for one night as we were arriving into Billund late at night. Easy walking distance from airport. Modern, clean rooms, but Very small, ok for one night stay for a family of 4. Restaurant food was so so, but nice modern lobby and restaurant area. Beware, no air conditioning in rooms.

Good location next to the airport in a short walking distance. The rooms were clean, basic and mostly quiet. The breakfast was ok, but the arrangement to put the cold things in a refrigerator was highly unpractical. The free city shuttle stopped in front of the hotel (easy ride to legoland, lalandia, lego house or wow park). The atmosphere at the lobby was nice and relaxed, families playin board games or cards, having dinner or a beer, watching football on tv, kids playing with legos etc.
