The Lodge Billund

3 night stay. Booked Garden Suite Balcony room . 2 adults 14 and 12 yr old boys. Boys were on douple sofa bed in separate lounge area. The hotel is beautiful and so clean ( billund is so claem everywhere) . Staff warm and friendly . Best continental breakfast ever . Pool great for kids . Only cold food to buy at lunch dinner but can order in take away or walk through the pine forrest to town which is 20 mins walk. Would 100% recommend.

Very clean, staff very polite and helpful. Good selection at breakfast, hot food wasnt very hot as had probably been there since it opened and topped up. Was going to use gym but it smelt, which i think was from being shut up all the time needs door and windows open to let some fresh air in. Only cold food available in evening, would be nice to be able to get hot food, restaurant not open in evening. Pool lovely but not big enough when its full of kids.

Best breakfast ever. Delicious pancakes. Really nice and comfy hotel. Staff is friendly and very helpful. You can use services after check-out like luggage storage. Short trip to legoland and to lalandia. Room is quite hot even outside temperature is 12 degrees. But then again you should open the windows, we didnt knew that it can be opened until the last night so its our own fault. I can recommend for families. Nice playroom for children at downstairs. Lot of parking space and really short walk for bus stop.

Beautiful suites. The outdoor seating areas provided with a suite were lush with plants and flowers, private, ample seating for a family.

Perfect family friendly hotel within walking distance to Legoland and legohouse. Fantastic breakfast in the morning. Great facilities to entertain. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very clean, simple and pragmatically designed.great for family! They say it’s the best breakfast in Billund and we would agree whole heartedly.

The whole experience was better than average. The online check-in was slightly annoying and unnecessary (as a concierge was standing right next to us). The staff were very earnest and helpful and nothing was too much of a bother. The room was large, quiet and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool and sauna but the table tennis table was substandard. I’d go back and recommend for location to Lego house and closeness to airport

We stayed at the The Lodge Hotel for 2 nights and were extremely pleased with our choice. The hotel is a short distance from Billund airport (we took the 43 bus from outside the airport) and after arriving to snow, it felt amazing to step into a warm and cosy reception area. We were greeted by an exceptionally lovely lady on reception who made check in easy and told us about the local amenities. The added bonus was our rooms were ready for us to check in to when we arrived at 11am (normal check in is 3pm) The hotel is very well equipped, my kids (5&7) loved the pool and the games room. There is also a lovely room with a gas fire and comfy beanbags - it has the perfect atmosphere to relax in. The hotel is close to the attractions we had planned to visit Lalandia and Lego House - all walking distance. The breakfast was lovely! A large choice in a lovely setting. All in all, I would 100% recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate booking again if we plan to visit Billund again.

We had booked the Courtyard Suite Terrace for one night for three adults and two young children. The room had a nice living room area and a large bathroom with a bubble bath. There was a very comfortable double bed in a room that you had to go through to get to the bathroom. Then there was made up a sofa bed for the children and an additional pull out single bed for the adult. The latter two were not comfortable so I wouldn't say this was really appropriate for three adults to be staying. We enjoyed the pool area, and a tip is to remember to turn on the sauna to ensure it is hot after the swim. The breakfast had a lot of lovely home made items (marmalade, liver pate, etc) and otherwise fairly standard for a good hotel. I always think it is a shame that you cannot return to the breakfast space just before closing to help eat the food that would otherwise have been thrown out. We also checked for a later check-out, which had a cost per extra hour so we decided not to do that. The staff were friendly; and booking was easy. Worth knowing that booking it online on the hotel's website, doesn't always show all the availability but a call to the reception helps.

A beautiful place right near all of the key attractions in Billund. Myself and my two children (9 and 7) had the most amazing trip. Everything in walking distance - even the airport although it is probably a little bit too much for young children. The hotel staff were exceptional - all so friendly, welcoming and warm. There is a lovely small hotel pool with a huge chest full of pool toys for children. Perfect for a young family. I’ve marked down for comfort unfortunately because our shower was cold and couldn’t be fixed. The hotel was fully occupied so we couldn’t be moved either. The staff were lovely about it and gave us products to use in the pool showers. However, it would have been nice to have a hot shower in our room of course. Still, highly recommended and now want to explore more of Denmark because the vibe here was so welcoming and family friendly.
