Casa Jorge y Alicia

We went to Ceinfuegos to charter a sailboat and this Casa Particular is just about 100 steps from Club Ceinfuegos Marina where all charters depart from and return to in Ceinfuegos. We arrived a few days prior to our charter to get aquainted with the area and was glad as Ceinfuegos is a lovely city with some great architecture and within a few dollars taxi from a nice beach some restaurants, shopping and downtown. Jorge and Alicia were most helpful and Jorge even drove me to a bank, my wife to a market to get some provisions for our Charter Boat. They have a medium size pool and a small Bar / Restaurant which will serve your meals if requested at affordable prices, About $9.50 for a baked Lobster and trimmings. All the rooms are on ground floor and could be wheelchair accessible. They all had private washrooms and a nice sliding door onto the large shared patio. The entire property as is often the case in Cuba was enclosed within a perimeter fence with a locked gate and i felt silly even locking our door as there was always an attendant on site and available. If you are going to Charter out of Club Ceinfuegos with Alboran Bluesail or Dream Yacht Charters or if you are just looking for a great Casa particular near a marina and a beach in Ceinfuegos just book this one and you will be looked after by a family that will treat you like their family.
