This home is a beautiful colonial home; the lobby is decorated with antiques that make you feel in the colonial time.
The rooms are cozy and very comfortable with access to an interior patios located on the fist and second floors; it also has a roof terrace.
The property has a bar and restaurant; the breakfast is not only affordable but delicious and abundant; variety of local fruits, natural juices, milk, coffee, choices of eggs, bread, cheese, membrillo ,and pancakes.
However, the best about Casa Torrado is the kindness of their hosts; a very nice and friendly couple that made us feel at home at the very first hello. My family and I strongly recommend everyone to stay at Casa Torrado.

The place was beautiful just like in the pictures. The rooms are small but they were built hundreds of years ago so that comes with the territory. The hosts were helpful and kept the place clean. We stayed 3 nights and there happened to be a power outage each day/night that lasted about 2 to 3 hours each time. This place has solar panels and a whole house battery. The battery isn't big enough to power everything but it is big enough to have the lights on. That is a big deal. Try showering in complete darkness. We went to the rooftop during one of the power outages at night and there were only about 3 to 4 other buildings that had lights on for as far as we could see. The location is great as well. You are about a block and a half away from the main church square where all the action takes place. Another nice feature of the room we stayed in is the sound proofing of the old super thick walls. There is the Casa de Musica in the town square and it can get pretty loud and they stay open until midnight. We could hear it in the street in front of the house but couldn't hear anything inside. We slept like babies. We would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic place to stay right in the heart of the old town centre. Beautiful casa, very quiet and peaceful, lots of places to sit and relax in the shade as well as the roof terrace with views over the town. Super friendly family who are ready to help as needed, delicious breakfast too. Easy access to beach by taxi or bus, and day trips into the national parks within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here.

Casa Colonial quickly became a home away from home. The hosts were very welcoming. This casa is a gem. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was large and updated with a very nice shower. We appreciated the beautifully prepared and delicious breakfast each morning. The hosts were extremely helpful with anything we needed. They gave guidance on what to see and do, arranged taxi service and even arranged for laundry to be done. Casa Colonial has been in the family for several generations and has been lovingly attended to. The rooftop was an amazing peaceful refuge to enjoy the stars. Thank you for such a lovely stay in the beautiful and historic town of Trindad.

We cannot recommend this place more. From the incredible architecture of the property, to the fantastic location it is a must go. The breakfast is great and the terrace is beautiful. The family that run the place are just incredible and make you feel like you’re at home. Whilst staying with them our rental car battery died and they stayed late into the evening to fix it for us, we couldn’t have asked for more.

We stayed in one of the rooms (2 beds, for 2 adults and 1 kid) in Casa Colonial Torrado. The room was big enough to accomodate us, it had very good and decent bathroom. The windows point to the courtyard, they can be shut at night. AC working great. The owner was super cool, speaks English, accomodating (ordered us a decent taxi) and flexible (he prepared an early breakfast for us as we had our Viazul at 7AM). The entrance hall is very elegant. By the way, Viazul arrives/departs from one house away. Plaza Vieja is one block away.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Colonial. We had a real sense of staying with a family who loved their home and city. Yosvaldo was so welcoming and hospitable, and he really couldn’t do too much for us - he helped us to organise a lot of our trip, made it super easy to get bikes for our cycle ride, and even without us asking cleaned some clothes we had left soaking in the sink! The building is beautiful and very well maintained, and we enjoyed having the roof terrace option. The room was also just what we needed - it was safe, had a fridge and air conditioning, was utterly clean and light, and it had character. The location is great, and the breakfast delicious. We wished we could have stayed longer and would absolutely come back!
