This place is family run and simple clean quiet place. They are friendly and helpful. For the price I’d be there again!

The stay was very enjoyable. This is a excellent value for the low price - located in the very high-end area of San Jose. Decent-sized swimming pool kept clean. The family that runs the Colonial are very friendly and helpful - special kudos for Kevin! Breakfast was a bit sparse - but plenty of great Costa Rican coffee!
