The property is one of the older properties of its kind in the area but they keep in really good shape considering. We loved our room. The AC worked well and the view was great even though you could see much sunset action from there (walk over the Mariposa for a sunset cocktail for a great sunset). The bathroom was large and very nice. Be careful of the water temp. It gets super hot. The family pool area was great and we enjoyed but maybe a little small given the size of the property. The adult pool area was a bigger even though fewer people were at that pool. The swim up bar was great there. The breakfast buffet was fine. You can also order from menu if you don't mind waiting a few minutes. I did find it to get hot pretty early in the area. Rico Tico was good but not great. The nicer restaurant there was really good! I don't usually get steak in CR but their filet was incredible. All the staff were super nice and I would definitely recommend.

The staff are incredibly nice and attentive. The concierge can book some tours which were fantastic! We booked the white water rafting on the Savegre and it was the best time. We also booked the Manuel Antonio tour which was also fantastic as well. The rooms are a bit outdated but the views were incredible. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and was comfortable. The sofa is a daybed. The bedding and the pillows were very comfortable and we had the view of the ocean from our bed. The whirlpool tub is older and needed some work but they were very prompt to fix it. We did see people renovating some rooms while we were there, so that is a good sign, that they are updating. The restaurants were all good. Breakfast was included and they have a prefix menu to choose from and all was very good and included a plate of fruit with every meal. The monkeys came every morning to try and steal the fruit. The Claro Que Si restaurant was just ok. There are better options on the same road down the street. The Rico Tico bar was good. They had Happy Hour 2 for 1 drinks everyday and that was fun. We had no kids and were mostly at the Adult pool area. The hot tub overlooked the water and was nice to sit in. We would definitely go back. We saw all kinds of wildlife while there. Monkeys, lizards and Iguanas of all sizes were everywhere. They have an outlook area and the grounds are so lush and beautiful.

We liked the fact that there was both a family pool and adults only area. Such a lovely setting.

The most wildlife we saw throughout our whole 7 day trip was from our balcony at this resort! The family pool is a lot of fun and the location of the resort is unbeatable.

NICE PROPERTY. I Was able to park my rental car out front which was great. Everything is within walking distance of the property. The breakfast was great and the view while eating breakfast was wonderful. Every morning I was able to see a pair of Macaws flying through the property. (HINT) There is a tree that is hollow where the macaws are nesting in. I was in room 36 and I could see him poking his head out overnight before he went in for the night. Allen in the restaurant was very helpful and full of useful information. Enjoyed talking with him. Its a nice place to stay and the kids liked the pool and the slides.

Si Como No Resort was recommended to us and the reviews seemed to support this. As a family trip, I booked a non-refundable rate and my relatives were unable to find a similar room / rate and ended up getting a room at the Hotel Parador which allowed me to compare both properties. First the good parts: great view, eco-friendly. Smaller property which keeps it more intimate. It is in a good location. Most of our interactions with the staff were professional, friendly and helpful with a couple of exceptions (see below). Kudos to Allen, Omar and Yendry at Rico Taco Jungle Grill who had to handle a full hotel / buffet that could have used a couple extra hands. Now the downsides: 1. the design is not a good fit for people with limited mobility. Thankfully my mom could handle all the staircases. 2. The property was built in the 1990s and it seems as though owner hasn't invested as much as would be optimal in maintenance. The hotel seems dated and some of the furnishings aren't in great shape. This compared unfavorably with the Parador Hotel which is a newer property and the room rate was actually cheaper. 3. There are some plumbing issues which result in drain smell which the property tries to cover up with automatic sprays in the bathroom. This appears to be due to the town of Quespos being below sea level but the Hotel Parador didn't have this issue.

I loved my stay at Si Como No. There is protected land surrounding it, so guests can see so much wildlife just by standing on the balcony. We saw toucans, parakeet, monkeys, even sloths. I woke up to the sound of howlers in the morning. It was magical. The staff is great, always felt welcomed and all our needs were met. The restaurant accommodated my children allergies to peanuts and soy (I emailed them beforehand).
