Byblos Bungalows & Suites

This was a perfect spot for our family of 4 on holiday. We had two rooms connected by the balcony. The monkeys were out a lot the first afternoon which was really fun to watch. It was nice to have the bar/restaurant right there to grab a drink and sit on our balcony after the kids went to sleep. We enjoyed breakfast and the pool as well. We’d highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

We stayed here as a family with kids and it was very enjoyable and relaxing. They have a beautiful new big pool with comfortable cushioned seating, a poolside cabana for those who prefer shade, a ton of animals in the trees and on the grounds including sloths, macaws, agouti, monkeys, iguanas, grasshoppers, butterflies, etc. There's a delicious breakfast every morning with local and Western favorites that are sure to please even your little picky eaters. There are two options for meals at the hotel -- at the poolside restaurant and at YOLO. YOLO was great for evening game nights too including pool, massive Jenga, massive Connect 4, board games, and a ring toss game. There is a supermarket right down the road, which is pricey but carries waters, drinks, bread, snacks, toiletries, and everything you would need. You will be walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and a short cab ride to the beaches. Tip #1: get the Whatsapp # of your taxi driver so you can get picked up from Biesand Beach, which is more remote but has a little river and cool, freshwater, natural pool for toddlers and babies to play in. Tip #2: Don't be put off by the stairs if you are staying in the rooms at the top of the hill. If you walk along the sidewalk on the street, you will easily get to YOLO or the pool without the need to trek the stairs. If you love the stairs for exercise (we did), then you get a neat, fit workout in by climbing through lush tropical gradens. It's a great place to explore!

Centrally located, walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Staff were amazing Room nice and clean, air-conditioned on point. Slept like a baby. Definitely coming back!
