Villas Del Caribe

We really enjoyed our balcony and the awesome views of the ocean. We were greeted by a family of monkeys on most mornings. The daily breakfast was good and the staff was really responsive.

This would’ve been the perfect hotel based on location alone but the bed was as hard as a rock and the rats climbing around scratching and squeaking in the walls kept us up every night. The outdoor area is very nice and there is a family of howler monkeys playing in the trees at least once a day. If I could’ve stayed at a different hotel with a bed that didn’t leave me sore and sleepless, and loud rats crawling around all night in the wall I still would’ve wanted to visit the outdoor area of this place. There were sloths, monkeys, iguanas, etc right on the property. Sleeping comfortably was just an unobtainable dream staying here.

My family (with a 7 and 12 year old) loved this property. The villa was spacious and clean. We were right on the beach and could easily walk up and down the beach for miles. The Spicy Coconut was fabulous for dinner! But the breakfast was just okay. I would gladly stay here again. It was clean, relaxing, and just a short ride to the center of puerto viejo.

Great place for family vacation

Overall this property was a great place to stay for myself and my family. I was there with my husband, my mom and 2 young boys and everyone was able to enjoy the property. The pool was perfect for kids and the beach front property made it so easy to take walks along the beach and lounge and hang in the water.
