Casa Pestagua Relais Châteaux

Incredible hotel, booked literally last minute (10 minutes before arrival) after running from another catastrophic 4* hotel in Cartagena. They immediately put us at ease with welcome drinks, we settled into an excellent lunch and checked into our junior suite. Highly recommend room 204 as it has a view over the palm trees and pool. Such kind staff, Germain, Katherine, Yeily, David, Leo and Amanda treated us like royalty. The day trip to their private beach at Acasi is definitely worth it, especially in comparison to other day trip offers. The boat is super safe, clean, small amount of passengers, and the beach itself on Baru is wonderful. They even went above and beyond when I had severe food poisoning (to no fault of their own) and sent a doctor to our room within 45 minutes. Next time in Cartagena for us there’s no choice but Casa Pestagua.
