Holiday Inn Express & Suites Trois Rivieres Ouest, an IHG Hotel

There was limited parking in the hotel lot. Rooms were modern and very well appointed. New bathrooms. Unfortunately we had two conditioners and no shampoo (pump bottles in the shower were a great idea). Staff were very friendly, offered helpful advice and agreed to store our freezer packs overnight in their freezer. Lots of noisy families staying at the hotel when we were there which may not be always be the case. Great breakfast but things ran out quickly. Hotel is located a distance from the downtown area but close to the highway. Mostly, a great stay.

Our room was comfortable and the hotel was in a convenient location. There were hockey tournament people here who were disruptive. Loud, children running up and down halls, drunk adults in the lobby. The breakfast bar was a disaster zone. The pool was a mess and had no towels.

Unfortunately, our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was very disappointing. The hotel is located near an arena, and there was a hockey tournament this weekend. There were dozens of teenagers intoxicated and screaming in the hallway from 10 PM to 2 am. The poor security guard was overwhelmed and was not able to control them. We could sense that this hotel is usually okay despite being a bit overpriced. The breakfast was good, and the room was clean. We understand that some events are out of the hotel's control, but we were extremely disappointed by the customer service the next morning. We were told that "things like that happen", that "it's out of their control, and they cannot start reimbursing customers for things like that". No excuse, no manager on the weekend to talk. It was a bit rude for a small family that didn't sleep that night.

Personally, I don't like the shampoo conditioner and soap pumps on shower wall! As for gym area, quite small...I was with my grandson and front desk clerk came to say children were not allowed, he is 12...THE SIGN says children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult! so clerk says to me, they haven't changed signs yet! Breakfast was great.

It’s a clean hotel. We stayed due to two of the amenities such as the breakfast and pool. The pool water was Ice cold. Stayed in the pool a total of 2 minutes with kids .breakfast there was nothing available as there was an overload of hockey teams staying at the hotel so literally a piece of bread was available at 8am…. So we booked here at a higher price point compared to other hotels due to the amenities but ended up not using them so in the end a bit disappointed in paying a premium to stay here .

Very clean, with modern updates and decor. Loved that the toiletries were by Dove. Thankful that they had a baby crib to use. Staff was always very kind.

New hotel. You would pass by 3 roundabouts to get there. We had Queen room suite for 6. There were 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was welly made already went we went in to the room. Two TVs, the remote control would change the other TV too, so watch where you point. Breakfast was the standard hot/cold fairs as before COVID. Pool was very rather small and shallow throughout, my 5 years old could touch the floor. So, the bigger kids lost interest quite soon. Hotel is near to highway and 7-8 minutes to downtown. Recommend and would come back if around the areas.
