Monsieur Jean was a delightful surprise! We are a family of four and stayed in a large suite with a king and queen bed. The beds were super comfortable. The room was modern, fresh and clean. Our suite had a kitchenette with Nespresso machine, free coffee and bottled water. The bathroom had a separate bath and rainfall shower. The staff was friendly and helpful. The gym had modern equipment, a rowing machine, treadmill, and bikes. The hotel came with some unique features including a game room right next to the reception area. They also offer breakfast in their picturesque lounge with views of the town. Wonderful stay!

I absolutely love this hotel. We stayed at the Fairmont for 2 to 3 nights. And next time I would choose this hotel over the Fairmont. The Fairmont had some nice amenities, but this far exceeded my expectations. The restaurant was nice although I feel like the menu is lacking. It only had food and tapas. It would’ve been much better if we had entry options and more options for kids. The rooms were fantastic spacious. And that was the best bed I ever slept in in my entire life

Beautiful decor with bold bright colors and eclectic design which is a new breath of fresh air as compared to the many mondain color scheme in many of the hotels nowadays. The rooms are adequate size with a fully equipped mini-kitchen which is very welcoming to many family travelers. It is a modern upscale hotel with up-to-date technical amenities. Even though it is a high-end hotel but it has a provision for children's needs.

The hotel location is fantastic! The room and the hotel cleanliness was excellent!!! The staff was very nice and helpful. We were checking out around 2am due to our early flight and the hotel receptionist made sure to still get us our breakfast to our room so we can have breakfast before we left. Just all around positive experience and a highly recommended place to stay. We will be staying there again when we bring our kids on the next visit.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Monsieur Jean. Our experience was top notch from beginning to end. The staff was very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the valet service. They always made sure our stay was excellent. The property is very clean, modern and elegant. It offers an ideal location, close to many dining options and allowing you to walk around Old Quebec. The valet parking was a big asset since parking is limited around Old Quebec. If you don’t want to use their valet parking there’s still a parking garage right next to the hotel. We also loved the small kitchen within the room. It was really useful, especially when staying with two small children. Overall, this is an excellent option to stay right in the heart of Old Quebec. Highly recommended!

We loved...everything. The staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating (with a special shout out to Hubert). The interior itself was eclectic and whimsical and delightful; you could tell the designer had a lot of fun playing and expanding on the theme. Our room (we were traveling with two children) was spacious, as was the bathroom, and the mini kitchen, discreetly hidden behind gorgeous lacquered blue doors, contained more utensils and cookware than I've ever seen in a hotel. The decor, again, was full of whimsy, and that signature high gloss blue just made everything feel extra lush. The beds themselves were very comfortable, with crisp sheets and very warm duvets. And the morning continental breakfast box was both welcome, and contained more than one would expect from a continental breakfast. On weekends, a chocolate fondue fountain runs all day, yum. Finally, the location was terrific -- everything in Old City was easily walkable. We'll absolutely stay here on our next visit to Quebec.
