The actual property is nice, but three properties over, there is construction going on. From 8:30 to 5:00 p.m. all you hear is banging of a commercial hammer breaking up rock. Apparently, three weeks ago the construction crew broke the main well, causing the water in the hotel to turn brown. The water line is fixed, but our bath tub water had a little brown tinge, and there was no smell. You cannot sit outside during this time to relax. The noise is terrible. Our cabin, was nicely renovated, but not as clean as I would have liked. If you looked under the bed, and the dressers, no one had swept there for a while, we found food particles and a baby’s sippy cup lid. Please note, we did have trouble with the hotel. When we asked for a manager, he refused to speak directly to us and would only communicated through his staff. I find the lack of customer service with our issue, poor. Since I manage a staff of 45 people and work in the customer industry, I would have addressed our issue much differently. I felt sorry for the staff behind the desk who had no support from the manager of the property. I would recommend having a manager on site to address customers issues and promote a better customer service experience. Because of the lack of service from the manager, not from the direct front line staff, i would not return. If you are staying one night, your experience will be different from ours. We stayed 3 nights and left early on the second day

Exceptionally Clean property and rooms. Comfortable beds. Walking distance to grocery restaurants and other places. Very easy to travel to most of the places. Staff was very kind to accommodate our requests. Enjoyed a lot with family. Location is extremely convenient. Will definitely stay again.

Adventure the Bruce Inn was the perfect hotel for a family trip we took in June to visit Tobermory. The property appears to be recently renovated and was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is ample outdoor seating with BBQs and tables on-site for guests to use. There is also a hot-tub on the property that I observed other guests using. I didn't use it personally as it was too hot outside, but it appeared to be clean and functioning as it should. I definitely recommend staying here if visiting the Northern Bruce Peninsula area.

Our stay at Adventure the Bruce Inn was very good! Front desk was friendly and welcoming, our room was clean, and we were in walking distance to town (no more than 10 minutes). We had our 7 year old daughter who was looking forward to the hot tub but we found out kids are not allowed to use it which was a little disappointing. However, we kept her so busy she forgot about it. Overall, it was a great experience (peaceful and serene) and would book again if/when we return.

Nice little property! Towels weren’t very clean, stained and damp smelling could do better with towel upkeep. Room was generally clean but fairly dusty. Bathtub kept backing up everytime someone used the shower and slowly drained there after. Internet was very slow but free, Netflix kept cutting in and out due to in connection issues. No staff on property after 11pm. Lastly pay attention when booking to make sure the amount of people is selected. We booked a quadruple room for two adults which had two queen beds thinking this would be fine for two adults and a 3& 5 year old however upon checking in the women said we needed to pay $30 CAD plus tax per night for our children to stay despite us a booking a quadruple room. Tourists destination so owners were taking advantage if tourists visiting the National Park 14 min down the street. Be aware they have a late policy that if you check out 11am - 11:30am they will charge you $100 CAD For. 11:30am—12:00pm they charge you $200 CAD After that is a full night rate. Not many good places to eat but whatever you do, do not go to “The Fish & Chip Place” by the harbour, disgusting frozen fish and fries fried in old oil. No fresh grilled fish options as everything they have is processed and frozen. Check out Shipwreck Lee’s instead! Fresh fish, seafood and grilled meats.
