There was no parking, it was very stressful ti find a spot, and then once we found one we were unable to leave the property for fear of not having a space when we returned. That meant we had to eat dinner at the hotel, which was ridiculously overpriced ($6 for a bottle of water). We had no hot water when showering that evening, and the pool was unexpectedly closed, which was disappointing for the kids. I wouldn't have booked this property if I had realized there was a hockey arena immediately beside it, and a tournament going on. Only one elevator was working on the day we checked out. The room was clean and comfortable, but it was the evening we were hoping for.

When i booked this hotel it stated it had parking included in the booking. However it is extra cost for parking. Also they do advertise the water slide at the hotel which is why i picked the hotel in the first place for my kids who were very excited for it. Unfortunately we did not get to use it its only open friday saturday and sunday and very limited time. We used the pool and i called front desk before going down with my small kids to make sure they had a change room available and towels which i was told they do. Once i got there with my kids we noticed the change room was under construction and not available and there was no towels provided. My kids did not want to leave once we got to the pool obviously because they are small and due to excitement. Once we finiahed we had to run upstairs soaking wet from the pool due to no towels and unable to change any where. The room itself had a broken toilet paper holder. The tub had water already in it not sure if it wasnt cleaned. Where they had charging ports none of them worked. Unfortenetly we did not have the greatest experience. I did not use the restaurant at the hotel but my husband did and was not pleased with service at all. Very slow and he had to ask for help and very basic items that should be provided like ketchup with the fries. As well at having to ask for another drink multiple times before getting it.

Overall the property was nice. Rooms were clean but dated, a microwave would have been a nice add. The pool cleanliness could have used some attention, calcium and lime buildup around the edges gave some kids a spot to practice graffiti, but the temperature was nice

Overall, It was a fairly good stay. Personnel is very nice and professional. We ran into a couple of issues though. Upon arrival, my card was charged $600 as a deposit for the 2 rooms I had booked (Never seen that much asked as deposit), then I was charged for an early check-in. Interesting how fast that happened, but when I emailed them a month in advance asking for suggestions as the trip was part of our wedding anniversary, I never got an answer. When I asked, The easy answer came up " We do not have any request on file" . I moved on and made my own arrangements. Next problem, first night we did not get enough hot water in our room and I went down to the front desk to report it and their answer was " We will send engineering tomorrow at a convenient time for you" to which i answered " Any time after 10 am will be fine as we will be out all day". We returned to the hotel close to midnight and nothing was done. When I went to the front desk to report the issue, the overnight manager simply assigned us another room that was supposed to be an upgrade since I would receive 2 bottles of water, bathrobes and sleepers complimentary. With all due respect, Hilton can do way better than that. I decided not to push or argue as my plan was to enjoy my family time away from home, but a revision to all these processes is a must.

Booked on Avion points. The room was paid in full. Arrived to check in, with photo id. Realized that I had forgot my credit card, but offered to pay the deposit on my interact card. They straight up refused to check me in because I didn’t have a credit card on my person. Again. The room was paid in FULL. In advance. And I was willing and able to pay a security deposit with cash OR debit. And they would not allow me to do so. Or check in. My kids stood there and cried.

I was surprised that there wasn’t a way to watch a movie. I had assumed they would have Netflix etc. like other hotels so my kids ended up watching in a tablet. not a big deal but a surprise. Front staff and pool staff all helpful. parking is a bit of a disappointment at $14. We had 2 cars so that seemed like a lot. And $24 for breakfast and $12 for kids is steep as well. Everything was fine but very little included. Even the tiny bottle of water was $2. It was an expensive stay.

For the price charged per night, a hotel of the supposed calibre of Hilton should 1. Provide even a continental breakfast. Instead, guests have to pay extra to get even a cup of coffee or tea. 2. Provide parking rather than gouge customers for $14/night. 3. Provide a working ice machine on the floor, rather than a machine which clearly hasn't worked for months. 4. Provide a room refrigerator that can keep a beverage cold rather than one that barely keeps even itself cold! I left the hotel with an overall feeling that Hilton is now a nickel-and-dime operation, one that prefers to nickel-and-dime its guests rather than provide them with the kind of experience that would make them want to stay there again and recommend it to their family and friends. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The ball hockeyy ppl were there, and drinking was happening in front of my room. I daughter was unable to have a nap, due to the noise. There was empty beer cans everywhere. Too many kids running around unsupervised. I would never stay at Hilton or recommend anyone to.
