Residence Inn by Marriott Halifax Dartmouth

By far our family’s best hotel stay. We are a famiky that always travel and stays in hotel most of the time but Residence Inn excelled and outshined the most. They prioritized their guest’s comfort and make sure guest will maximize the amenities during their stay. Probably going back!

Beautiful design , very comfortable and lovely staff. The beds are comfortable and nice showers . Its is a great place to stay with a family . There is a kitchen and a pool

Very clean. The room was amazing. Like a studiio apartment. The kids loved it. Swimmong was a big hit! Veru clean, lots of pool towels available. The water slide and hot tub are a hit. Breakast was amazing as well!

It was nice to have an hour in the pool area with no kids.

The pull out couch the kids slept on wasn’t the most comfortable. Lots of springs. Other than that, it was fantastic.

Brand new hotel, great attention to detail and comfort, very spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. Very convenient to have a full kitchen and refrigerator in the room. Nice pool. Overall, great stay for a family vacation.

Best part was the friendly and helpful staff plus facilities were great for families

I really enjoyed my stay! And the hours for the pool were great for busy families to still get time to swim. Also the extra little touch of having popcorn available with our coffee was a great little surprise!

We were family of 4 booked in King size bed and pull-out couch. We were told room was ready via pre-Check-in. Arrived to find no bedding for pull-out couch, not enough pillows and not enough towels. Room was clean; nice size washroom, especially the shower. Breakfast staff was very friendly and very helpful - go early if you have the complementary breakfast - they start whittling down the buffet supply as the deadline nears - but that's understandable and reasonable. Elevators can be a bit slow - there are only two for 8 floors. Pool is small and hot tub is even smaller - seems a popular spot for families, many smaller children running around screaming uncontrollably - I'm sure they enjoyed being unsupervised. Never saw a more crowded exercise room ever. Parking was terrible - many vehicles took two spots - partially because the stall lines were covered and partially because some people are terrible drivers - hotel didn't do good job in clearing snow in any case.

The room was fine but the beds were not very comfortable. Upon arrival, previous occupants garbage was still there and no bedding was available for the pull out bed. Facilities were otherwise clean and well laid out. Pool/hottub/water slide was great. Breakfast was just OK. Many families at breakfast were clearly living in the hotel for a prolonged time which was unusual.
