Delta Hotels by Marriott Whistler Village Suites

We stayed for 3 nights..had heard some bad reviews but did not find any issue.. it was smooth checking .. we had taken the kitchen suite and house keeping was daily.. they can but improve on cleaning as bothroom cleaning was not Upto the mark.. my kids enjoyed in pool. Overall it was good experience..

We attended, unknown to us at booking, during a high school band festival. The entire weekend was screaming kids running up and down the hall, playing on the elevators, and ensuring that no other guests could utilize the pool are, sauna, or workout rooms. The staff was as frustrated as we were, but it was not a pleasant experience. We also had housekeeping wake us up two days in a row a 7am. One day was my mistake for not putting up the DND sign, but it was there the second day.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. The kids loved the heated pool and hot tubs!

Great affordable option for families and very pet friendly

Hotel is very nice and in one of the best locations in the village, a few steps from everything the village has to offer. Rooms were very noisy from drunk or inconsiderate guests given the proximity to bars/restaurants etc. You can hear every single conversation from others around you, and it's even worse when they're drunk, yelling, swearing etc. We were traveling with a toddler who sleeps at 9pm and were they were constantly awoken by other guests yelling in the hall to their friends in other rooms etc. The hotel seems to have very little control over this and the corridor walls to hallway seem very poorly constructed. We did call the front desk several times without answer and then went down to speak with someone directly. The hotel tried to remedy this by sending someone to check and leaving a note for the guests and also comp'd our parking. Which I appreciate. I don't say this to be critical but just for others if they travel with young families to be aware of. It was a bit more noisy inside the hotel itself than other hotels and resort areas where I've stayed before.

My family and I had an amazing experience at the hotel and we definitely want to stay there again.

Had a pleasant stay. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Helpful at the front desk. All in all a nice family getaway.

Disappointed with the stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott Whistler Village Suites. Nowhere in any of the literature about the accommodation, either from Delta or the booked agent (Experian) is there any mention that the hotel is built on top of a nightclub (Garfinkles). The thrum, vibration and noise from the music lasts every day/night from 8pm until 2am (except Wednesdays when the club is closed). This adversely affected our sleep, experience of the accommodation and our holiday. Questionable value for money. We will not stay there again. Additionally, the servicing of the rooms is every other day and failed completely for the last four days despite our direct requests to the front desk and assurances that it would be attended to. One of the two elevators was out of service for 10 of the 12 nights we stayed and the pool/sauna/hot tubs for three of them. The room was ‘tired’ with, for example, a rip in the carpet in front of the fireplace and was overall not the standard we would have expected of a Marriott hotel. Other travellers will make their own assessments but we would not recommend this accommodation to family or friends.

The lobby and the pool area were nice and updated and the hot tubs were actually hot, which was amazing. However everything else fell short. Check in is 4pm we arrived around 4:10 and were told our room was still not ready, I had kids and a dog with me and it was -18c outside so waiting around 45 min. Given we paid almost 4k for 3 nights I was disappointed at how dated the room was, the carpet had stains, the dishes in the room were dirty which is comical since we were told that our room wasn’t ready cause they were doing a final cleaning inspection. There was no bedding for the pull out in the room where it was supposed to be. Then the icing on the cake was being billed for tide pods and two bottles of wine from the “mini fridge” according to the bill even though there was no mini fridge or any wine anywhere in the room and we didn’t do laundry. Staff were kind and they are reversing the charges but this hotel needs a major reno if they want to charge over $1000 a night for what honestly was a 2.5 star hotel.

Beautiful property, cozy accommodations for family. Loved the suite. Friendly staff!
