Delta Hotels by Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort

5/5 Location Central yet near Nature, Staff efficient and friendly, Great Room Size, Comfort and Cleanliness, Food and Beverages on-site, Amenities are abundant. 5/5 enjoyed the Delta Grand with family it was very good in every way..it would also be suitable for a friends or couples getaway...

Beautifully maintained hotel with great pool area for families. Only short coming was when we called the front desk to request a late check out they said they couldn’t do it. Moments later we logged in to their app to request it via that option. Within moments the AI Bot confirmed they would be happy to accommodate a late check out. Not sure how the app could accommodate us better than the in-person employee working the front desk? It worked out but suggest Delta align their in person service to what they provide via their app. This was a time waster - should have gone to the app first I guess…who knew?!

Great location. Pool and hot tubs were available for the family. Caught a Kelowna Rocket WHL game. Great stay.

I stayed there on a Tuesday and asked at the desk if I could book a room for 2 nights later on Thursday when I returned from a short business trip. They said NO!! Unable to make a reservation at the desk in the hotel. They said I would have to go on line. You’ve got to be kidding!! Beyond ridiculous.

Great experience in this hotel with friendly staff and beautiful location. We really like how relaxing the place is and even love the scent of the toiletries. The crew from the restaurant were also amazing! Perfect place for a family vacation!

A very good hotel for families

Staff was very rude and unprofessional, Expedia booked a suite for me and my family, and we arrived at the hotel only to find out they never had those rooms available I was very upset not only that, I had to pay 2 hundred dollars more for rooms that I did not want but because of the circumstances I was in was basically forced to accommodate my family and my children it was a horrible experience my rooms were canceled 3 times due to inexperienced Expedia staff very unprofessional for a family coming from the east coast Toronto, to BC I would expect much better professionalism. Also the staff at the hotel were very rude and did not want to help me and my family in any way possible I will never book anything through Expedia again and or go to that hotel again worst experience in my life to be honest!!!!

Was a fantastic stay. The location is prime if you’re wanting easy accessibility to the beaches, shopping, restaurants, you can walk anywhere or rent bikes for a nice ride to wineries. Downfall : the pool was disappointing for such a prestigious hotel. It was full of kids all day, splashing and yelling and taking over the entire pool so those who wanted to relax were not comfortable. I feel like maybe with such a high price and 5 star rating they’re trying to reach, maybe an adult only pool or maybe from 8-10:30 is adult only or something. Also we didn’t realize how many sketchy areas/non lit paths there are around this area. We would often avoid walking around these areas at night due to the lack of feeling safe with this very obvious activity

Beautiful location, the outside grounds were immaculate. Staff in restaurant and bar were amazing, smiling always willing to help looked like enjoyed the job. Maintenance very helpful. Front desk staff not as friendly nor willing to help. Too man changes, locked lobby bathroom need code not advised. at 7PM old locks in bathrooms I was stuck in stall for 40 minutes. If it happened after 7PM could have been longer. No real apology had to take door apart. Limited housekeeping and for price of room should at least clean bathroom sink. No valet service expensive overnight parking. Having to reserve the pool that is new you are given 2 hours sometimes they check and other times they over book. Walking areas had some very bad tripping hazzards uneven cement of 3 inches going out the gate we reported this to management. Only one elevator working and small child got trapped. I think I should have been offered a nice dinner for being trapped in their bathroom stall I hurt my hand and back from banging and yelling to be heard. I was with friends and we still had a fun time but Hotel needs to do some major repairs and changes to be sure all guest are aware entry codes for bathrooms can't imagine having small children and running around to get into a bathroom. Hire Security we are paying guests and this is not a cheap hotel.
