Border Inn and Suites Lloydminster

I loved the room itself it was a suite and was very affordable and worked well with kids

Border Inn and Suites is a family friendly and wallet friendly hotel. There is a lot of parking in the parking lot and the hotel is easy to find. What impressed me most was the price per night and the quality of the facility. The staff are amazing and friendly. The breakfast was hot and there was plenty enough for everyone. The weekend we stayed in the hotel it was sold out but you’d never know it since the building is concrete the rooms were very quiet. We had a room right by the elevator and stairs and were only disturbed by some loud volleyball girls making videos by the elevator once, all I had to do was open my door and make eye contact and the girls quietly scattered and didn’t come back. There wasn’t any fruit at the breakfast buffet but when I asked a staff member they quickly provided me with apples and oranges.

Very clean and comfortable. Mostly quiet but my room was on the main level near the pool so there was noise coming through the door from excited children. Rooms are spacious..

April at the Front Desk was super helpful with all of our needs. She made sure our stay was comfortable for our child. Her customer service is outstanding!!

Great pool for kids! Staff is always great and accommodating!

The check was friendly but she gave us the wrong room .. when we got to the room about 15 minutes later she called and said that she gave us the wrong room so we had to change rooms .. plus they only had the one elevator working which is very unsafe as there was fire evacuation families there and only one evevator working ..breakfast was not the great is was cold . We loved staying at the place before and always have but now we are having second thought on it .. the breakfast if you want the buffet style get proper warmers so the food stays hot ..

The room was like a oven at +8 during the day, questionable people hanging outside the door to where you go to your vehicle, they should have cameras and security to move those people along, pool was super cold not great for young kids. Breakfast was good.

My kids loved the pool, the treadmill in the gym was spot on, breakfast was yummy. Even though the hotel is old the cleaning staff and maintenance staff are doing a fabulous job and were do friendly. At check in the front CSR was extremely rude and not helpful at all. When we checked out we were ignored and told to just drop our keys on the desk. We were unable to eat in the lounge as we had children with us and staff would not honour any specials they had posted as we were taking it to our room. Our bathtub didn't drain and when told to staff they said yah it's probably clogged with hair (YUCK). It was great to have the banquet room right off the pool, the kids had fun and that's all that matters :)

Overall, good stay. Had made request to be near pool to facilitate swimming with grandchildren but hotel had not received request…email from Expedia read that we’d be accommodated. Fortunately lady at front desk helped us find a suitable room on first floor which was very much appreciated! Will recommend to others!
