Hilton Barbados Resort

Beware. We booked this through Expedia. The booking was 2 adults, 2 children breakfast included. Just to be sure, I made an international call to Hilton in Barbados and they confirmed the room details and that breakfast was included. Then when we arrived at the hotel we were told breakfast was only included for 2 adults not the children. I explained my communication with Hilton but management would not honor what I had been told over the phone (I was even able to show them a record of the international call time and date). They did concede that they would only charge the child rate for breakfast even though my kids were over the age they would usually allow it. Admittedly this was something but it still left us with a fairly hefty breakfast bill at the end of the stay which we thought we had already paid for. With a brand name like Hilton I thought they would have stood behind what their representative said on the phone so just beware.

Friendly, efficient staff. Bar staff at the Water’s Edge were amazing!! My family and I can’t wait to go back!

First I would like to say that my baby Vaneka had the best birthday stay of all time!! The facility was clean and the property location was perfect!! A big shout out to Mike our taxi driver who serves also as the staff driver for your great service and hospitality!!! My dude!! Also I would like to thank Cheryl L for her professionalism and courtesy in taking care of our room!! The little things matter and we appreciate you rm 225 Bryant and Vaneka! Please recognize her!!!! All in all I give you guys a 5star rating! We will be back!

Read this before booking. Upon check in I was told only one person is allowed the continental breakfast despite paying per person and clearly stated in my itinerary. My 10 yrs old was not allowed to have breakfast because technically they don’t charge for children staying in the room. I told them it doesn’t make any sense and should update their website or relate this information to Expedia. There was another family that threw a fit for the same reason. If it’s not feasible then remove it from your description or put coffee and muffins but it’s ridiculous to say this to people upon check in if this was known prior I would have gone somewhere else. I would not book with them again. The pool and beach was nice but the rooms were not spotless the bathrooms had stain on the walls and corners the floors were a bit sticky.

I travelled with my family to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had an awesome view from our room. Property is nice and all staff members were friendly and courteous. Beautiful swimming pools, but they weren’t always clean. Poolside entertainment was also good. Will definitely be back.

The views of the ocean was absolutely beautiful the hotel staff was extremely nice. And accommodating, however they ran out of food limited the menu options for room service. They will not let u order chicken tenders if you are an adult. U have to say u are a child in order to place a order with rooms service. The jacuzzi was out of service. In the restaurant they stop cooking food a hour and a half before they close which we arrived at 540pm and they did not have half the menu options because they stopped cooking to close down. Over all I loved the views from our room.

No complaints! Great service and kid friendly hotel.

Mildew smell in the room carpet was really bad when you turned the air condition down. Maid service was skipped two days and when they did come it was late evening. Nothing to do for children other than swimming. Happy hour was for one hour only and be prepared to pay a fortune to dine on the premises.To use their wifi, you had to sign up for Hilton Honors program.

Most comfortable bed I have slept on in a while! The beaches on the property is not exactly toddler friendly but an easy walk to neighbouring Pebbles Beach where waters are much calmer. The pools are amazing and my toddler enjoyed it to the max. Staff are friendly and willing to assist, I will definitely be staying here again.
