An absolutely gorgeous resort! Extremely clean and very safe. I enjoyed an every minute here. The rooms are stunning, and the resort offers several amenities and stores that everyone in the family could enjoy.

A perfect venue for a family vacation. Service was fabulous. Very much appreciated the accommodation to the needs of the kosher traveler.

The property and service are both outstanding. The access to the adjacent water park make it a great family vacation resort. For some reasons there was some small scale-backs from our last visit two years ago, e.g., there were no canoeing, rafts, or flamingo interactive opportunities. Minor. We especially appreciated the accommodations for Orthodox Jewish prayer services and special activities for Yeshiva Week plus the expanded availability for kosher food, albeit the fact that the food was quite overpriced. All around a great vacation.

Very nice property, casino is centrally located between the three hotels. There are a variety of pools with atmospheres from calm and quiet to family centric to party time. There are various restaurants and food options. All are a bit overpriced for what you get. Gratuity is included but labeled as "service charge" just FYI

My family and I had a terrific time. Danielle Brown front desk agent was amazing. She was very sweet and professional. She made sure everything we needed was taken care of and followed up on our stay. She exceeded our expectations. I recommend this hotel highly.... Great atmosphere, food and location.

Overall a very nice, comfortable place to stay with a very friendly staff. Concierge was great. Cocktails were delightful. Pools were phenomenal. However the entire experience was very expensive and the whole “luxury” or “exclusive” labels being a little played out. Food was very good, but unnecessarily overpriced. The most frustrating thing was the water situation…No options for access to water anywhere…unless you wanted to pay $12 for a bottle. Be prepared to hoard it every chance you get. rooms were clean and nice, but no furniture on our balcony and walls were very thin (could hear tv in next room). Not recommended for families (that’s due more to clientele than the hotel staff).

Overall, it is a very fine destination. Cons: check in was a nightmare. Offered us an upgrade because it was our honeymoon. Desk clerk took us up to the room and never came back!!!! Customer service kept telling us he was on his way back up. Never saw him again. He ended up going home. The room they did upgrade us to was on the 19th floor.........directly under the nightclub. Thankfully we brough noise cancelling headphones otherwise we never would have gotten any sleep for four nights. No surprise, but it is just stupid expensive. The Surf and Turf at the Carna Steakhouse was $450.00. I got the $175.00 Cowboy ribeye and quite frankly, it was just ok. We ate at every main restaurant there. Fi'lia's Italian Restaurant was simply horrible. The rice balls were still cold inside. For an Italian restaurant, they only had about 4 Italian dishes. The chicken parm could barely be cut with a knife and the roasted chicken was so dry it was inedible. Cleo's was the best out of the bunch but next time I'm heading into town to experience true local cuisine without spending $3,500.00 for a steak dinner.
The pro's are many. It is a beautiful resort with so many options. The water park was fun and there are many different types of pools to choose from. The service was was fine and again, many options for drinks, ice cream, quick lunches, etc.
To me, the SLS has a bit of an identity problem. It's not sure if it's for fun seeking singles or for couples and families.

Overall this was an amazing vacation for our family of 4- kids ages 5 & 7.
The grounds were always kept up well, clean and plenty of chairs/seating.
The downside of the room at the SLS was the privacy. There weren’t any doors on the bathroom, only a curtain. So lack of privacy while using the bathroom would be more of an issue with older children. Also the curtains needed to be cleaned. There was also a lack of counter space for toiletries. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Balcony could use some seating.
Staff did not get 5 stars because we often felt like we were inconveniencing them. It took a lot to get a smile out of some of the staff.
The beach was one of the most beautiful and clean we’ve been to, it was amazing.
There are so many pools the kids were constantly excited and occupied. The cliff jump pool was the best!
Food was generally good and tons of options. Definitely make reservations!
Water park was so fun! 48 inches required for all big slides.
Would recommend this resort and would go back again.

This place is a total Money trap! It is beautiful but as soon as you walk thru the door it's all about money. Everything is at least two to three x's more expensive then usual and then on top of that they charge a VAT tax and then another service tax. The breakfast they mention, over a Benjamin Franklin for 2 people. You can't just order an egg and toast. There are no substitutions. They don't have a shuttle service so if you want to leave you have to get a taxi and the fee is different ever time, we learned to ask first. The rooms are clean and the shower was awesome but there's no doors. The bathroom only has a hanging curtain and the shower and the toilet have glass doors. Even the wall to the bathroom isn't a wall, it's just shutters that you can't close all the way. The mini fridge in the room is stocked and if you pick anything up, they charge you for it. If you put your own stuff in, they charge you for it. One of the pools is adults only but there's no umbrella's at that pool, unless you want to give rent a cabana for an enormous amount of money for the day, you will melt so your forced to go to the other pools w/ all the kids and the screaming and the people not watching their kids. I missed the fine print that added on extra charge per room (we had 2 rooms) and was charged another ten Ben Franklin's when we checked out. Total SCAM!!
