Sovereign Hill Hotel

My family have stayed here a few times and have always enjoyed our stay. Where our rooms where this time was completely different where we've been any other time. It was a bit of a walk to the accommodation from the car and we had to use quite a few stairs. I said on arrival this wasn't ideal as I had a disability but wasn't offered any change. The young man was kind and showed on a map where to go and said it wasn't far, wasn't too many steps etc but...it was for me. The property website wasn't available and we had to go through Wotif so keep in mind to always put you need a ground floor if you need. It made it very difficult for me. Also, breakfast is only available on school holidays now. That was a little disappointing.

This was perfect for our family of four. Comfy beds and quality linen.

This is a favourite of ours when we visit Ballarat. The hotel in lovely, using old facades with modern interiors to draw an inference to times gone by. The staff at check-in were lovely and were helpful in letting us know about local haunts and things to do. This hotel is great if you have kids, the rooms are spacious and there is a large grassed area for them to run around.

The staff were friendly with fantastic customer service. They were really accomodating, recommended a great place to have breakfast, and organised our passes for Sovereign Hill, with a back entry keypass so we didn't have to drive around. Very convenient with 2 little kids. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking was easy and accessible. The only negative was we could hear the people talking really loud in the room next door quite late at night, which you could get anywhere. For the price point, this accommodation was well worth it and we look forward fo staying here again in the future.

The rooms are located in its own building (depending on the rooms number). It is secure as you need a key card to enter the building and your room. The room and bathroom are spacious, adequate for our family of 3. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning. The staffs are friendly and overall experience is just amazing.

Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed our overall stay at sovereign Hill Hotel. We spent the day exploring Sovereign Hill and checked into the Hotel at 4:00pm. We were warmly greeted and provided with a code easy access to renter back into Sovereign Hill to experience the Winter Wonderland Lights Festivities. The room was excellent sized, very clean and on safe grounds. The Buffet Breakfast was filled with lots of exciting foods and home made pastries. We are already planning our next stay there. Thankyou to the Staff and most of all Sovereign Hill for the memories

Free buffet is great, good quality breakfast. But the property is very disappointing, toilet is in awkward position to get in. The wash basin is too far to reach in room 64 colonial room. We booked colonial room but they allotted us family room then we have to show the booking and after that they reluctantly changed it.
