The Benson Hotel

We stayed for 3 nights recently. Although it was mentioned on the website as renovated that was only partial. Bedrooms were clean and spacious enough for 4 people. Beds were okay and they were comfortable. I did not feel bed linen were fresh. AC did not work for 3 nights we stayed and it was making huge noise so we had to turn off during the middle of the night to have some quite sleep. We kept balcony doors for airflow. Without AC we were all sweating and did not have very good sleep. This was not fixed during our stay although we reported on day 1. I dont believe any renovation was done in bathrooms. Bathrooms were in okay condition and the door to bathroom was not closing properly. We reported the problem and they seem to have fixed but did not even bother informing us or checking. Bar and restaurant has some great drinks and food. Some staff were very friendly but not all. Pool and Sauna facilities were great , kids had good time. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
