We stayed here last night to visit the famous Martin Place Xmas tree. Perfect location - the tree is outside the side door!! It’s a very beautiful and high class hotel, rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It was such great value, especially at this time of year. Beautiful touches for the kids too - postcards to write to Santa and a post box in the foyer, and a teddy bear xmas tree!!! We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner onsite and all the food was superb. We will definitely be back!!!

I had prepaid this hotel before arriving. My wife and I stayed here for our first night being married and having our wedding that day. When we arrived we were told we couldn’t access our room because we did not have a hard copy credit card for a $1 bond. What an absolute joke. We were not told about this prior and had to wait for our family arrive to get access to the room. Surely the hotel could give us access to the room and we do the credit card later.

Great location for us as we were traveling as a family with young children. Easy walk to main attractions & vivid lights at circular quay

The double room is large and spacious with plenty of room for a family. We had room for a rollaway bed at an extra cost of $80 per night which was a little pricey but handy to have.

Great location, super central to everything. Not an overly family friendly place - mostly suits everywhere during the week, we were the only family for miles at times, but we were ok with that. Room and bathroom a really good size. We'd booked a clock tower view room - couldn't see the tower, looked straight onto another building - but that's Sydney. Finding someone to make a coffee at breakfast was a challenge, we watched many people arrive, sit there for 10mins waiting for someone to order from and then just give up. My knife & fork were taken out of my hands before I'd finished so my plate could be taken away - service needs to be worked on. But other than that, excellent stay.

The reception staff couldn’t even pronounce our names, we had the hardest time cancelling our accommodation with Expedia and Fullerton Sydney. Staff from both end confirmed we will receive our refund and later on they cancelled. Even after providing them with all the screenshots we had. This hotel has a strong fragrance smell in their lobby I couldn’t even breath. The manager is very ignorant! For the price they charge they should really provide the friendly service. We travelled with a toddler from Canada I would never go back here. Lack of empathy, professionalism and no one has resolved our issue. We were tricked in paying for accommodation which we didn’t use. Allergies and anxiety are real for people! Save yourself yourselves from the trouble. There are nicer hotels around circular quay. I would give Fullerton 0.5/10 please don’t book through Expedia either. We’ve given up on our refunds for the nights we didn’t stay at the hotel. I hope this helps in planning your next trip. Good luck everyone

Wow! Just wow! We stayed here for the weekend with our kids as a last hurrah before school went back.
We were instantly impressed on entry and the staff were so welcoming. We even had a staff member who saw us wandering around and looking at the hotel, stop us,welcome us and fill us in on the history of the hotel. The staff overall were wonderful from front of house to back of house.
Our rooms were beautiful. We loved the bath and our middle aged bodies appreciated the pillow menu and comfy bed. We were missing a few housekeeping things, but not a big deal.
The gym was one of the best I’ve ever trained in with new, state of the art equipment.
The food here was also brilliant. The buffet breakfast is one of the best we’ve had in our many stays. We also had a theatre menu prior to our show. It was fantastic and well priced for 3 courses. The bar was also a chilled mood affair with great options for dining or just a drink.
My only criticism was the check in. The staff member that served us was not at all friendly and communicative. We had two rooms that needed to be checked in and there seemed to be a lack of communication of what needed to be done here, so there was confusion. In the end, I was passed onto a colleague to finish the process but it was 15 minutes by the end. But that was my only negative.
All in all, this hotel is up there as one of our favourites, and that’s our kids (who are critical) opinion. We wished we could stay longer!
