Rydges Norwest Sydney

On first impression, the hotel wasn’t too bad, but…night one we wanted room service but were told there wasn’t anyone to bring it too our room. Even us asking to collect and take it to our room ourselves resulted in head scratching. We also asked where the guest laundry was and were directed to the second floor. On arrival at the laundry we were greeted with an “out of service” sign on the door, which remained for the four days we were there. The fold out child’s bed was made up with bedsheets that appeared used (clean hotel sheets are flat, not crumpled). There was a noise for the entirety of the stay that sounded like masonry drilling into concrete - 24 hrs a day. Coffee/sugar not replenished each day. Cold shower water on the first night. Other than that it was good. The staff were friendly, so that was a positive. The price was cheap for Sydney, I guess you get what you pay for, even out in the suburbs.

The staff are very friendly and the kids are love the food at the restaurant. It's pleasant stayed.

Budget wise is good.It’s ok if you staying with kids but not with teenagers.

Because the room wasn’t quite ready we were upgraded to a spa unit. Very spacious and clean Great for a family of 4
