PARKROYAL Parramatta

I had to complain twice about excessive noise. The first night, two separate couples kept us awake. The initial couple began with extremely loud music, while the second couple (a "crack head" according to the ladiespartner) woke us up at 3 am, screaming and cursing at each other. The disturbance was so severe that my children woke up scared and terrified. I and another guest had to call the manager twice to request police intervention. The following day, hoping for a good night's sleep before our 9 am flight, one of the couples again started with loud TV noise after 10 pm. I had to call twice to request them to lower the volume. Additionally, the cleaner exhibited a terrible attitude and refused to replenish the milk or provide a sanitary bag.

The room was nice, but the noise from the street was so loud we only stayed one night instead of two. With two young kids, we wanted somewhere quieter. That said, the staff were so understanding and were great with organising our early check out. If it was just my husband and I, it would have been the perfect location and room.

Short walk to CommBank stadium, plenty of choices for dinner and a family friendly area.

Quick & friendly check in, great location made for a pleasant family stay

Positives: Hotel was nice and newly renovated. Parking per day was only $12. Central to everything around Parramatta. Pool was clean and great for the kids. Negative: We did have an issue where someone was smoking on our level and we had to leave our floor at 3am. We got moved and all we got in return was two drink cards to use at the bar. We were a family of 4, so paid buffet breakfast probably would have suited. Also when we did move rooms, there was a massive cockroach with wings! We were over it, ended up leaving 2 days before departure date. Expedia refunded the 2 days we didn’t stay.
