Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley, an IHG Hotel

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Every request was fulfilled and it's a really great place for the families with kids to stay. So many things to do with your little ones. Love it absolutely and will be back again for sure.

Had the best mini getaway with the family! Close proximity to all the main attractions in Hunter, was worried room would be cold during winter but air con worked a treat to keep us nice and cosy. Buffet was kids highlight - a lot of variety and good quality. Next time will definitely take advantage of the kids club activities (we already had itinerary mapped out and booked before we got here). Front desk reception staff were friendly and super helpful - will definitely stay again.

Very disappointed to discover what we thought was a hotel room in the main complex was a villa about 400m away. Not pleasant in cold and rain to come for meals and drinks. Walls very thin too - you could hear the conversation of our neighbours (and all their cluttering around plus a noisy child)

Being here several times. Really like this hotel. Highly recommend everyone here. They have all kinds of activities to do for kids and adults. Will be back again!

Loved the kids swimming pool area. Really fun place for kids. Since it is easter the resort organised activities for kids (face painting, jumping castle etc).The Villa was nice however the carpet was very dirty. There was bad smell if you close the room for too long. Also the room has a lake in the back which was great however back entrance had dead insects and duck and bird poo all over the area. The room service food is really average. Not worth what you pay for. Its hard to call reception from your room. No one is available. Gives you an option for call back. Selected that a few times and no one ever calls back. Redsalt restaurant has good food however was not.able to keep up with busy periods. Left early without having dessert which was part of the 2 course meal due to wait times.Overall great place to stay if the above issue's are fixed. Planning to taking th kids back later this year. Fingers crossed.

We had faulty fire alarm noised at 3am twice which we femt very inconvinient with babies especially

Nice place with many things to do and enjoy. Tennis, swimming, golf, kids waterpark, putt putt, volleyball. Lots to take advantage of. Hotel is near other places to dine. The massage was not great in the spa. Nothing beats a good Thai massage. The massage therapist seemed like they were in training. Such light touch. There is a Thai massage in Cessnock would be better money spent to book outside. The kids club looked so boring, I felt so bad leaving my kids there. Good for kids under 4.

Good for families, but very busy by the pool!!

This resort is amazing, I have a child with specific and serious dietary requirements and the people in charge at the buffet breakfast were very accommodating and took my concerns seriously. There was a gluten free setup / area and you can request specific requirements as the chefs cook certain meals. Joanne the team leader during breakfast assured that my son was safe and remembered us every morning. She was kind and understanding. Kendal the manager at the buffet in the evening was also amazing and kind. Everything is this resort is high quality. we loved the pool and the open bar during our stay. Many activities for children (kids club etc, play areas). we full recommend this exceptional and beautiful place for families.
