MVC Eagle Beach

My stay at MVC Eagle Beach was good. The location was great for the beach, where family was staying, and near restaurants. The pool is very small and was not cleaned during my week there. The room and air conditioning were ideal but the air conditioning leaked during my stay.

Older place, all freshly painted and very clean. We got a family room which gave us one room with king bed and another room with 2 twin beds, which were very comfortable. Very nice breakfast was included in the price i paid. Price was very reasonable and Eagle beach was right across the road. So convenient. Free Wifi was great at hotel and on the beach. Will definitely stay here again. PEI.

Small hotel surrounded by large hotel complex with the beach just on the other side of the road. Just perfect! Only thing is the limited selections of nearby restaurants. But a $2/10min bus ride (or rent an electric kick bike) to Palm Beach open up a huge selection of restaurants and shopping options. But an advice, easter holiday is "camping season " for the locals and they build almost like small village with tents at the beach for the whole week of Easter. And just in from of the MVC Eagle Beach Hotel two large families set up their camps with some 7-8 large tents each, cooking station, toilets etc. Should say this is not unique for MVC Eagle Beach, this happens all around Aruba on all beaches.

The staff was very kind and friendly. The access to the beach is a very short walk across the street. This hotel has stairs so if you have a disability I'd try to stay on the first floor. The price matches the resort amenities however. The pool is very small sort of like a kiddie pool. Everything was super clean. The matress was very firm and ended up bothering my back after awhile but i would definitely stay here again!

Straight onto Eagle beach. We weren’t sure about the road when we booked as we were travelling with older children but it is not busy and Aruban drivers stop to wait for pedestrians to cross. MVC Eagle beach is the perfect location between Oranjestad and Palm beach. We took the arubus or little buses up to Palm beach where the restaurants and malls come alive in the evenings but enjoyed the peace of Eagle beach during the day. For a family of 4 the Arubus and taxi was the pretty much the same price ($10 each way). No restaurant at the moment at MVC but there a number of local restaurants which were all good and a fridge in our rooms and a supermarket within easy walking distance meant we could pick up bits for lunch/dinner on the days we didn’t want to eat out. Breakfast is a continental type tray - plentiful and fresh. The rooms are clean and cool and the beds comfy. The staff are friendly and super helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at MVC Eagle.

The website has slightly different pictures. But overall I would stay there again. Pros: It is Very private with minimal traffic. You do have a beach/ocean view. The staff was excellent! They were kind, efficient on requests, the rooms were very clean and they cleaned and changed sheets every day. The breakfast was the same every day as they brought you a tray of breads, danish or muffins, fresh fruit and a bowl of fruit, boiled egg, yogurt and a cold cuts tray. Coffee, juice. The water on the island is absolutely delicious! Very filtered. They kept the grounds super clean and lastly they provided a worker to save you a beach hut and chairs. He was so nice. Cons: The rooms are small but who is in the room all day. The private area outside the room to sit is actually a small table and 2 chairs right outside your room, so not very private. They did have several areas outside covered where you eat and uncovered for lounging. The pool is super small. Only 2.5 feet deep. They did have an outside shower to rinse after beach. But if you have children or teenagers this place may not be the most fun for them. We really did love it and would definitely stay there again. They said they were renovating it next year.
