Hotel Royal Hoi An - MGallery

Lovely property, issue we seen as in much of Vietnam is the rubish and plastick burning smell. To a stage where it burns your troat at times. The hotel was lovely and comfertabel as ypu whould exspect out of a property of this calerber and heritige. Staff seam to attend asian clients more than Australians or English as we see this at many hotels on out trips. More tipping we guess. Hotel pool is cool not cold briliant for kids and just to chill. Down town is like a small village and is in walking distance easy to nevigate after the friendly staff explaind where to go. We hired a motor bike 200dong a day and rode a round as it is not as bussy in this area. 15 min by bike.to the beach. The free push bikes need a service and oil. The toilet are small even for my wife..But over all 6.5 out of 10.

Beautiful hotel, great staff the food was amazing the rooms were clean and comfy. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

Property is luxurious and and in a great location. Exceptionally clean. Front door bellman was very helpful and friendly. He could work in any hotel in the world. Most of the other staff could not speak English and that made communication interesting. Most is the people in the area don’t speak English either so you have to be patient and use your hands a lot. However, the country was beautiful and the food is insane. The people are warm and welcoming. There is a sense of family and community you will never experience anywhere else.

It was only a short walk to the Old Town making it quiet and yet convenient. It was easy using the Grab application to have food delivered from the Old Town after a day's sightseeing. Food at the Faifo restaurant (breakfast ams dinner) is good. The staff are friendly. However, i noted two things during my stay. 1. I forgot to deposit my son's used diaper (no solid waste) in the trash and left it on the bed. I came back and the used diaper was covered up by the quilt. Granted it was white in colour, there were some lightly coloured cartoon characters on it. Housekeeping missed it and took the tips too! 2. I dropped by the children play area at the recreation centre. There was a big dead spider on a bright yellow sponge mat at the corner. It looks like it had not been cleaned up in a while. On the whole, despite the hiccups, it has been an enjoyable stay as always at MGallery properties.
