We were a family of four and stayed in the family room. We had such a nice stay in the hotel. The staff is very friendly and supportive, the rooms are clean, the location is perfect, the breakfast was very good. We also used the spa service. We can really recommend this hotel, all was very good!

The easiest 5 stars given. From the moment of booking all the way to check out, everything was superb. The highlight was the staff who were always super friendly and went out of their way to help, and breakfast each morning. Shortly after booking, I reached out to the hotel for help with booking a Halong Bay cruise. Ryan was quick to reply and we were easily able to arrange our Halong Bay cruise and transfers through the hotel. When we arrived to check-in, Tamila provided us with all the information we needed about the area, tips about travelling around Hanoi and Vietnam, and helped us get settled in. Breakfast was divine - a buffet with a great selection of local foods and western options, and an a la carte menu to order from. We ordered dishes like pho and bun cha everyday which were so delicious and a great way to start the day. The hotel was a short walk or Grab from most attractions which made getting around very easy. The rooms were also large (we booked the family/connecting rooms) and perfect for what we needed. The transfers we arranged via the hotel to Halong Bay made things super easy for us. The hotel even prepared a little snack bag for us all for the car ride to Halong Bay which was so thoughtful. The hotel was also able to store our suitcases for us while we went on our overnight trip to Halong Bay which was very convenient. When we returned for another night's stay after the cruise, Hannah checked us in and also super friendly and helpful.

The staff were exceptional. Liam and Ryan were awesome looking after our family organising day trips. The staff at Mia's restaurant and and breakfast were some of the best service providers I have come across anywhere in the world. The rooms were nice and great location. The only things that let the hotel down were the fridges were poor, the noise on a Sat night and no pool.

Wow! This place is fantastic. Hotel is in the perfect spot for seeing the sights in Hanoi. easy walking distance to everything. The breakfast is fantastic. The staff is even better. Shout out to Sunday at the rooftop bar, Julie at breakfast, and Rick the manager. Truly felt like family. Can't recommended this place any stronger.

The two best things of this hotel are the location and the staff. Ryan was very communicative since I booked the hotel. He helped me arranged transport from and to the airport as well. At the hotel, all the staff were very courteous (Liam & Eddy especially). They were very serving to my family & wanted to make sure we have the best time. The hotel itself is not the newest, nor the most luxurious, but the cleaning staff was fantastic. Room was spotless all the time! We had a few issues during the first night stay - power outlets not working and AC wasn’t blowing cold air in one of the rooms, but the staff took care of it right away! Location wise, you can’t beat its proximity to Hoan Kim Lake and Old Quarter. Very easy to walk around to/from the hotel.

The service was excellent. All the staff were really helpful. Suggested places to visit for the day ahead and even printed off best restaurants in Hoi An which we were visiting after Hanoi. They even allowed us to leave our luggage’s with them when we returned from our one night cruise at HaLong bay and we had to wait for our flight to DaNang. The rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast served each day had a really good range! We really loved our stay at Solaria. Thank you from all my family!

My family (mom and sisters) stayed at Solaria for 1 night on Saturday night. The service here is incredible and they offered suggestions for places to visit, things to see, where to get vietnamese coffee, restaurants to try, etc. The staff is super super polite and very helpful, extremely kind and professional and they spoke english well with us. From Friday to Sunday there is a night market in Hanoi that closes down the streets around the lake so this hotel was the perfect location. It is located directly on the walking street and was right by the lake. The included breakfast buffet was luxurious, fancy and had both a selection of buffet items and a la carte menu items. Everything was very delicious. The buffet is located on the top floor so if you go on the bar side you could see a very beautiful view and can see Hoan Kiem Lake as well. I can't say enough about the service. We had mangoes that we wanted to eat and when I asked for a knife to cut it, they said they could not provide me a knife due to liability reasons but instead they offered to have the kitchen peel and cut the mangoes for us which they did. They also provided us tupperware and utensils to go so that we could take the mangoes with us to the airport. They also arranged for our airport transfer and provided us advice on how much time is sufficient beforehand to head to the airport for an international flight.
